Police conducts raids on Dhabas; recovers narcotics Cong always promoted anti-Sikh elements: Varinderjeet STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: "It is unfortunate that country's oldest political party, the Congress, has always promoted its such leaders who were involved in 1984 riots even more unfortunate is that it never uttered a single word of condemnation of killing of thousands of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other parts of the country," said National Sikh Front Chairman Varinderjeet Singh while reacting on giving the post of Chief Minister to Kamal Nath in Madhya Pradesh. "Like other leaders of Congress, Kamal Nath too was involved in 1984 riots and it is not mere allegation but there stands wit- nesses against him", said Varinderjeet Singh adding that award- ing such a leader with important portfolio is sprinkling salt on the wounds of thousands of Sikh families. Making a strong plea to immediately remove Kamal Nath from the post of Chief Minister, Varinderjeet Singh said that the Congress should not test the patience of Sikhs and that it should seek public apology for mak- ing blunder in giving CM post to a culprit. Varinderjeet Singh further said that there was no headway in the 1984 riots cases during Congress rule at the Centre but after Narendra Modi took over as PM, the matter was taken seriously as a result of which one of the main accused Sajjan Kumar has been sentenced life imprisonment. Rather than interfering in tech- nical issues of medical profes- sion, it was better for him to focus on hospital sanitation, drainage, water supply and electricity". "Our hospitals are working round the clock through every situation and disaster for which we have been appreciat- ed and recognised at the national level and have received awards in health delivery sys- tem in tandem", Dr Naik fur- ther said. Dr Owais H Dar General secretary DAK said "It is not SMC that is paying salary to doctors; we are being paid through the taxes of peo- ple and we are working here for the people. Cong always promoted anti-Sikhelements: Varinderjeet

STATE TIMES NEWSJAMMU: "It is unfortunate that country's oldest political party, the Congress, has always promoted its such leaders who wereinvolved in 1984 riots even more unfortunate is that it neveruttered a single word of condemnation of killing of thousands ofinnocent Sikhs in Delhi and other parts of the country," saidNational Sikh Front Chairman Varinderjeet Singh while reactingon giving the post of Chief Minister to Kamal Nath in MadhyaPradesh.

"Like other leaders of Congress, Kamal Nath too was involvedin 1984 riots and it is not mere allegation but there stands wit-nesses against him", said Varinderjeet Singh adding that award-ing such a leader with important portfolio is sprinkling salt on thewounds of thousands of Sikh families. Making a strong plea toimmediately remove Kamal Nath from the post of Chief Minister,Varinderjeet Singh said that the Congress should not test thepatience of Sikhs and that it should seek public apology for mak-ing blunder in giving CM post to a culprit.

Varinderjeet Singh further said that there was no headway inthe 1984 riots cases during Congress rule at the Centre but afterNarendra Modi took over as PM, the matter was taken seriouslyas a result of which one of the main accused Sajjan Kumar hasbeen sentenced life imprisonment. The Congress used power astool to shield its leaders involved in heinous crimes but Modi gov-ernment never misused judiciary to suppress or harm any com-munity in the country.

Singh also made an appeal to the Sikh community to exposeCongress for its anti-Sikh approach.
