COASTAL CLEANUP MONTHSeptember 1 - 30Coastal Cleanup Day is the world’s largest volunteer day to protect our environment. Heal the Bay and Terranea Resort invite you to take part in this physically distanced, safe, and sustainable outdoor initiative all month long! Throughout September, volunteers from all over the world will do their part to clean local beaches, rivers, creeks and parks. It’s easy to participate – no special equipment or experience is needed, and all are welcome! Head to pointe discovery to pick up a complimentary cleanup kit!

GUIDED COASTAL HIKEFridays - Sundays | 11:30amTerranea is committed to an educational campaign focused on the environment. Our guided hike stops at a variety of spectacular viewing points including the Point Vicente lighthouse and the Terranea Sea Salt Conservatory. As you walk along our coastal trails, our naturalist will point out local flora and fauna. You may spot a California Gnat Catcher, an El Segundo Blue Butterfly, or an Allen’s Hummingbird.

Guided by our skilled instructor, you will test your core strength while paddling through amazing kelp beds along our shoreline.
