A definition of insanity: Doing the samething over and over again and expect-ing different results. Albert Einsteincouldn’t have said it better.

We, the residents of Goshen and the restof the Northwest, face a bleak future. We have lost tens of thousands of jobsin the forest industry, and we feel aban-doned by the governments we elected, the corporations we made rich, and thegods we worshipped. Creativity and romance are a good combination, Aquarius, and today both are in top form. Why not get out the good stationery and craft a love note that will set that special someone'sheart aflutter? Cater to your romantic nature, ideally with a partner at your side. Even ifyou're alone, a bubble bath will do wonders for your soul.

Is a bit of redecorating in order? This is a perfect time to spruce up your home. Ratherthan rush into a project that you might later regret, Pisces, it's better to spend the daywith color and fabric swatches. Once you're happy with a scheme, then you can pick upa paintbrush. Think hard before making a decision.

You have the creative ability to make a real go of your music or writing. Why not put itto better use? Are you afraid to take the risk? Today you may be inspired to rise aboveyour fear as you read a book or hear a piece of music that moves you to want to createone of your own. It's never too late to get started, Aries.

Prosperity isn't just around the corner - it's here, Taurus. Your finances are looking betterthan ever. Don't rely on this money, however. The whole point of a windfall is that it's unex-pected, and thus can be used for luxuries or indulgences that you wouldn't normally allowyourself. If you begin to spend a windfall before it arrives, it's no longer a windfall but justanother paycheck.

You've never looked better, Gemini. As a result, people are drawn to you and you have anunusually large circle of friends. This is fun but time consuming, as everyone seems to wanta piece of you. Try to keep your feet on the ground. Don't let your vision become cloudedby all the flattery you receive.

You've always been interested in the arts, and now you want to explore that interest ona deeper level. A visit to a museum isn't likely to do the trick, Cancer. Instead, why notenroll in a class or sign up for a lecture series? A few artists, in particular, capture yourinterest. Make it a point to concentrate on them first.

Errands seem to rule the day. You spend most of it in the car, running hither and yon. Don'tbe surprised if you run into an old friend you haven't seen in a while. The casual pleasantriesyou exchange could develop into something more. Perhaps you will discover a commoninterest and decide to build a business based on it. Keep your eyes (and mind) wide open.

The planetary configuration makes you likely to reap the benefits of all your hard work,Virgo. The little windfall you receive is nice, to be sure, but don't think of all of it as funmoney. Put a good amount aside in a savings or investment account. You can use the restto kick up your heels a bit. Why not invite a friend to dinner at the nicest restaurant in town?

Keep your mind on the present, Libra. As much as you'd like to be somewhere else, yourdaydreaming is getting out of hand. If you're sincere in your desire to explore other lands, begin some research. For now it's better to focus on any problems that make you want torun away. Open a dialogue with anyone with whom you've had a misunderstanding. Youwill find this brings immeasurable relief.

There's passion in the air today, Scorpio. You can feel it. The feeling is so strong that theair almost pulsates. What are you going to do about it? If you're in a romantic relationship, plan an intimate evening together, free of chores and daily tasks. If you're single, peruseyour little black book and see if there are any relationships worth warming up.

Has the opposite sex always been so attractive? Today they seem especially so, Sagittarius, and capture your attention right and left. One person, in particular, you've always considereda platonic friend, but today seems interested in you romantically. Perhaps this person isjust picking up on your vibes. He or she may make a wonderful partner, so don't immediatelydismiss the idea.

Your poise and gracious nature serve you well now, Capricorn. The best thing you can dotoday is spend time around other people. Go to a party or other social gathering tonight. The evening is bound to be a resounding success as you radiate warmth and energy andpeople respond in kind. Allow everyone the pleasure of basking in your glow.

RYAN & THE MOVIES- GLASS -

M. Night Shyamalan gets the charactersfrom Unbreakable and Split together andthen does almost nothing with them otherthan have them sit around in cells for thebest part of an hour. He then proceeds toretell all the exposition and memorablemoments of two films that the audiencehas likely seen just to stall time. This is M.Night just basically going over the sameground, especially the idea that thesecharacters don't have superpowers, which

was debunked over the course of their individual films, but it suredoes save on the budget. One feels incredibly sorry for Sarah Paul-son, who has the thankless task of just repeating the same dia-logue over and over again in repetitive scene after repetitivescene. Or for Samuel L. Jackson, who doesn't even appear for ahalf-hour, and an hour passes before he rouses from a catatonicstate to speak despite being the title character. Or for Bruce Willis, who is barely in the film between the opening and the finale. OrJames McAvoy, who is doing stunning work in service of nothing. This film feels so cheap that it even just recycles 19-year-olddeleted scenes from Unbreakable just to fill time, making this feellike a clip show. Then the climax comes along and all the effortto get here was simply for an underwhelming end with not onebut two silly, forced twists. This is a letdown that fans of the indi-vidual films would be wise to pretend didn't happen.
