Audio version with extras, click here: https://youtu.be/JupNr-tXNN8The Hebrew Tamiyd, as seen in DaniEl 8, is a foundational mystery critical to understanding the whole Hebrew economy, and thus the foundation of the whole Mashianic (Christian) faith, the antitype; but it is a great, yet marvelous, mystery. This message will totally transform how you look at the Bible as well as your everyday life. I guarantee it! Shalom.

THE MYSTERIOUS TAMIYD

Part One—The Battle of the Tamiyds

New light is about to break forth! We are entering into some of the greatest mysteries of the

universe, things that prophets and messengers have desired to look into. Let us begin with the

prophet DaniEl. Chapters 7 to 12 are of extreme importance to us living in the last days. But tonight

we want to focus on the mysterious Tamiyd. What is the Tamiyd? Why is it so mysterious? What

does it have to do with our worship? These questions will be answered.

In DaniEl 7 we should be familiar with the four beasts representing four worldwide empires and

that the fourth beast is the dreadful one that becomes the Papal system. There is one verse I’d like

to highlight regarding this dreadful beast: “And he shall speak great words against Elyon (the Most

High), and shall wear out the holy ones of Elyon (the Most High), and think to change Appointed

Times (which would be ‘Moedim’ in Hebrew) and Law (which would be ‘Torah’ in Hebrew)” (Verse

25). This will become the basis for the ‘transgression’ we read about in DaniEl 8, which will be the

heart of our study and help us to discover new and wonderful things out of the Torah. But before

we go there, I’d like us to look at a cross-reference to this passage, which I believe prophesies of the

same thing as it refers to Mystery Babylon, which will encompass the whole world, at the end of

time...

"They have transgressed the Torah of YaHuWaH, and have effaced and changed the Statutes, even

the Everlasting Covenant. Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein

are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left"

(YashaYaHu/Isaiah 24:5, 6).

As Seventh-day Adventists, we believe that the fulfillment of this is in the form of Sunday Laws and

the Second Commandment being taken out and splitting the Tenth Commandment into two parts.

The origin of this is the Catholic Babylon as early as the Second Century, and then enforcing it in

later centuries. But we have only seen a small part of the picture, though Sunday sacredness is the

prominent sign of this transgression.

Before Sunday could be thought to be made sacred, the Passover Day of the Bible had to be changed

to Easter Sunday. Then, only after this change was made, could the Sabbath be changed to Sunday,

the weekly Easter. Once these alterations were made in the Torah, all the other Holy Days of the

Bible disappeared from Catholicism and one counterfeit feast after another came in to replace them.

These include the following, in addition to the yearly and weekly Easter: ‘Mary, Mother of God’,

January 1st; ‘Epiphany’, January 6th; ‘St. Patrick’, March 17th; ‘St. Joseph’, March 19th; ‘Ascension’;

‘Holy Body and Blood of Christ’; ‘Saints. Peter and Paul’, June 29th; ‘Assumption’, August 15th; ‘All

Saints’, November 1st; ‘Immaculate Conception’, December 8th; and ‘Christmas’, December 25th.

These are all called ‘holy days of obligation’. So, what were the obligations; what as the purpose?

First, we should note that there are 12 annual feasts altogether. This is the same number of annual

Feasts as commanded by the Torah, which include: Passover; Week of Unleavened Bread; First Day

of Unleavened Bread, being a Sabbath; Second Day of Unleavened Bread, being First-fruits; Seventh

Day of Unleavened Bread, being a Sabbath; Pentecost; Trumpets; Day of Atonement; Week of

Tabernacles; First Day of Tabernacles, being a Sabbath; and the Last Great Day. Therefore, the

counterfeit feasts replaced the Holy Days of the Torah, and being counterfeit, they have the same

obligation: no servile work. But this was not the main purpose.

The greatest mystery of the Catholic Church is the main purpose and it counterfeits the Tamiyd of

the Bible. It is the centerpiece of Sunday and all other feasts of the Catholic Church. It is called the

‘Mass’, and all Catholics are obligated to have this Mass every single week and on every feast. This

‘Mass’ revolves around what they call ‘the holy Eucharist’, which involves transubstantiation—that

is, bread and wine that is believed to literally turn into the body and blood of Christ, and the wine is

fermented. It is pope or priest that magically enacts this sacred mystery. It is the greatest

abomination of the dreadful beast, which thought to change the Times of the Torah just to institute

the Mass. They had to be different Holy Days from the Bible, because the biblical ones are all

associated with the Heavenly Sanctuary, which was typified by the earthly.

Thus, Sunday not only stands for supposed papal authority to change the Laws of the Bible, as they

boastfully claim, but more than anything stands for the abomination of the Mass. Thus, when a

Protestant holds Sunday sacred, which purpose stood for this two fold abomination, whether they

realize it or not, they are observing the abomination, because, again, this is what Sunday stands for.

So, what is it about the Mass that makes it so abominable and to counterfeit the biblical Tamiyd? We

must recognize the essential difference between Catholicism and Bible religion. Catholicism teaches

that you can continue sinning as long as you take part in the man-made atonement system that

continues week by week and year by year, the primary part being the Mass, and other monotonous,

spell-like prayers, including to Mary, and penances. It is one great system of human works for

atonement, in the place of Mashiach (Messiah).

Mashiach (Messiah) is in the Holy Places of the Sanctuary in heaven. He is the only one who can

make atonement for our sins, for He is not dependent on Elohim (God) for life as we are. He has life

innately within Himself, because He is the Creator and has no beginning. No angelic messenger

could do what He has done, for all other life comes from the Fountain of Life, YaHushua (Jesus).

Thus, only He can give life; no one else has life to give because their life is derived from Him.

YaHushua (Jesus) Himself said in MattitYaHu (Matthew) 24, Verses 15 and 16: “When ye therefore

shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by DaniEl the prophet, stand in the Holy Place,

(whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in YaHudah (Judaea) flee into the

mountains.” This prophecy originates from DaniEl 8, where we will go next, but more specifically in

DaniEl 11:31 and 12:11(which begins at a 1260 day prophecy). Again, YaHushua (Jesus) stands in

the Holy Places of the Heavenly Sanctuary, but the pope thinks to take away the continual ministry

of YaHushua (Jesus) by changing the Appointed Times to papal ones to set up the abomination of

Mass, on the primary day being Sunday. Then, when pope or priest commands the bread and wine

to turn into the very essence of their Jesus, he is standing in the Holy Place.

It is a bad enough abomination on its own when it is done in a private sense—that is, among

Catholics—but it becomes the great abomination as described in DaniEl and by YaHushua (Jesus)

Himself when it is enforced upon the world through Sunday observance and other enforced

holidays such as Easter and Christmas. This prophetically happened in 538 AD when the Papacy

had assumed civil authority over the entire then-known world, with its laws being enforced upon

all—primarily Sunday, and their feasts of obligation. It is at that time that the true and faithful

followers of YaHushua (Jesus), such as the Waldenses, fled into the wilderness. But that was the

prophetic 1260 days, which were 1260 years.

The most literal application will be when the 1260 days are literal days in the future. That will be

when Sunday and holiday legislation will be imposed upon the whole world. 1260 days will then

remain until the seven last plagues are poured upon all transgressors, and by that time, the

Seventh-day Adventists will have already been either sealed or shaken out of the truth, for the 70

literal weeks for Seventh-day Adventism, the modern YisraEl (Israel), will have already expired. In

Revelation, this international legislation imposing Sunday and holiday legislation, in place of

Sabbath and the Holy Days of the Bible—this great transgression is there called the mark of the

beast. Again, Sunday stands for the supposed papal authority to change the Torah (which is the

basis of the government of heaven) and perform the abomination of Mass. Thus, Sunday sacredness,

will become the imposed abomination itself—and adding to it the terrible abomination of

combining church and state, thus terribly violating the religious freedom of the world. But before

this all happens, the world must be warned. We must be able to give a similar message as I’m giving

to you all tonight. So I hope you are paying close attention and taking good mental and paper notes.

Now, let’s go to DaniEl 8 and onward as promised, because I want us to make some connections so

that we can see the big picture, and from there uncover the mysterious truth of the Tamiyd—the

true and genuine Tamiyd…

In DaniEl 8, the ‘little horn’, which we will read about, becomes the same power as the dreadful

beast in the previous chapter. Let’s read Verses 11 to 14: “Yea, he magnified himself even against

the Prince of the host (referring to Mashiach), and from Him the Tamiyd (or, that which is

continual) was taken away, and the place of His Sanctuary was cast down. And the host (that is,

of the ‘little horn’) was given over for the transgression against the Tamiyd, and it cast the truth

(that is, of the Tamiyd) to the ground; and it practiced, and prospered. Then I heard a Holy One

speaking, and another holy one said unto that Palmoni (Wonderful Numberer) which spake, How

long shall be the vision concerning the Tamiyd, and the transgression of desolation, to give both

the Sanctuary and the host to be trodden underfoot? And He said unto me, Unto 2300 mornings

and evenings; then shall the Sanctuary be cleansed.”

This is a most foundational passage of Scripture than any other for us living in these last days; and

yet so few of us understand the mysterious Tamiyd, which belongs to Mashiach, that Wonderful

Numberer, who numbers the 2300 Tamiyd, or mornings and evenings, during which the little horn

transgresses against. The reason it begins a millennium before the Papacy even becomes a power is

because this vision, called ‘Moreh’, must also contain a portion called the ‘seventy weeks’ in the next

chapter, after which a type must be drawn out when the Pagan Rome army surrounds the earthly

Holy Place in YaHrushalayim (Jerusalem).

Paganism is also a counterfeit to the Tamiyd of truth described in this chapter. It, especially through

Pagan Rome, is the precursor to the Papacy. The earthly YaHrushalyim (Jerusalem) was destroyed

by Pagan Rome when the city had collectively rejected haMashiach (the Messiah) who was to come

in the seventieth week of this ‘Moreh’ vision. Until that point, the earthly Tamiyd services were still

being held there, but it was taken away by Pagan Rome when the city was destroyed. But again, this

was all typological—the earthly as types of the heavenly. That is, the earthly Sanctuary, with its

Tamiyd (continual, morning and evening services) since its inception in the time of Mosheh (Moses)

was a type of the Heavenly Sanctuary. This is described well in the book of Hebrews. The blood of

bulls and goats, which were offered daily, or Tamiyd, could never make atonement for sins, but it

was all to point to the Heavenly Sanctuary and the Tamiyd going on there, so that we could

understand it better. And Pagan Rome, which had a counterfeit Tamiyd through a system of idolatry

and human sacrifices, took away the true Tamiyd, allowed to happen through the judgment of

Elohim (God), when the temple was destroyed in YaHrushalayim (Jerusalem).

It is a shame that there has to be a debate over this Tamiyd issue, which is so full of light. Pagan

Rome does have its place, as it is a counterfeit Tamiyd. But the mistake that William Miller and

others have made is applying the Tamiyd as described in DaniEl 8, which is the Tamiyd of truth

belonging to Mashiach (Messiah) the Prince, to Paganism. Both the Pagan and Papal powers—

which are really the same power with the latter being Christianized—are the counterfeit Tamiyd.

Pagan Rome takes it away when it destroys YaHrushalayim (Jerusalem), and Papal Rome takes it

away through legislating Sunday and its Mass, thus casting the Tamiyd of truth to the ground,

replacing it with a counterfeit system of Christianized idolatry, including the witchcraft of turning

bread and wine into a body and blood of worshiped deity.

William Miller just could not understand this mystery, because he knew nothing of the Heavenly

Sanctuary; he applied the sanctuary to this earth, which he expected to be cleansed at the end of the

2300 years when the Advent was expected. He understandably could not see it any differently. But

now we have more light, now that the portals of the Heavenly Sanctuary have been opened to our

understanding. This is really what happened at the end of the 2300 years. Mashiach (Messiah)

entered the Most Holy Place on the Day of Atonement that year to cleanse the Sanctuary, which has

yet to be cleansed from the continual commission of sin. He is still there offering up precious

sacrificial atonement—the only atonement accounted worthy by heaven. The transgression against

this Tamiyd ended that year, because now that the Sanctuary was opened to us, specifically the

Most Holy Place, we could see the Tables of the Covenant, particularly the Fourth Commandment—

the Commandment enforcing the true Tamiyd. Thus, the Tamiyd truth was cleansed from Papal

errors to our understanding on the day called October 23rd, 1844, when Hiram Edson saw the

Sanctuary, to be cleansed, in vision.

But even the transgression of desolation by the Papacy in the 1260 years was still typology of things

yet to come. And next time, instead of the desolator—first Pagan Rome, then Papal Rome—making

desolate Elohim’s (God’s) holy Sanctuary and holy people, the desolator, Mystery Babylon, will be

made desolate, just as we saw in YashaYahu (Isaiah) 24, and has long been prophesied in so many

other places. The ultimate abomination of desolation is yet future. It will be universal. That is, it will

involve the entire planet. There will be a literal 2300 evenings and mornings once the National

Sunday Law is enacted by the second beast of Revelation, which is the United States of America.

YaHushua (Jesus) will still be undergoing the true Tamiyd in the Most Holy Place—that is, He will

still be continually making atonement for sins. But at the same time, the counterfeit Tamiyd will be

enforced through Sunday, which stands for the counterfeit atonement through the abominable

Mass week after week, and year after year, when the magic spell of witchcraft is practiced instead of

a cleansing from sin from the Fountain of all life.

Throughout this period of 2300 literal days, it will be the contest between the two Tamiyds,

each having continually repeating worship days, opposed to each other, to commemorate

one Tamiyd or the other. But unto 2300 evenings and mornings—that is Tamiyd—then the

Sanctuary shall be cleansed. By the end of that timeframe, all inhabitants of the earth will

have made their final decisions. As for the holy ones—which keep the Commandments of

Elohim (God) and have the faith of YaHushua (Jesus)—their sins will be cleansed. Sins will no

longer go up to the Sanctuary to pollute it. All the sins of the faithful will have been

confessed, and they will no longer sin—that is, transgress the Holy Torah. But Babylon will

continue her rebellious transgression against the Tamiyd; her sins will continue and she will

not be cured.

Babylon despises this doctrine that there can be an end of sin. It enrages her. She knows she is

fallen, yea fallen, but she does not want to be cured, because she hath not the love of the truth, that

she may be saved (2 Thess. 2:10). That is why she ragingly opposes and transgresses the Sabbath

and Holy Days with their foundational Tamiyd. All probation will be ended at the end of the 2300

days, at the Day of Atonement. Any prayers to ask forgiveness of sins will not be heard, for sacrifice

and oblation will cease (Dan. 9:27), not just for Seventh-day Adventists (for them ending at the end

of the 70 weeks), but for the whole world. Atoning blood will never again be poured out from the

wounds of Mashiach (Messiah), next must surely come the plagues, unmixed with mercy, for the

whole world will have been warned. There will never again be a probation in the universe. Now is

the time of salvation, while we still have Tamiyd services.

This concludes the first part of the study tonight, but we have only seen the introduction. The most

glorious things are yet to come, in our second segment called, ‘The Glorious Mystery of Twilight”,

when the Tamiyd of truth will pour out in Latter Rain strength and revolutionize your daily

spiritual life. You haven’t seen hardly anything yet. But what we have already seen is powerful

enough! Can you say ‘Amen’?

Part Two—The Glorious Mystery of Twilight

\

You are about to pierce into most glorious mysteries tonight. But before we do, please determine in

your heart to treasure the truth and internalize it, both intellectually and spiritually. Friends, this is

sealing light that is coming to us. We must store it in our hearts. So, let’s get started…

Let’s resume our journey through the most precious prophecies of DaniEl. First, let us keep our end

goal in view. We can read about it in the next chapter, Chapter 9, Verses 24 to 27, as the Moreh

vision given to DaniEl, and to all of us as he stands in his lot at the end of days, continues. As we

read it, I want us to focus on the literal end-time application, that the seventy prophetic weeks from

457 BC to 34 AD was a prophecy of. The Words of the prophecy are in bold, then I will briefly

comment as we go through. So, with that said, here it is…

“Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city…” Who are the people

here? It is the professed believers in the prophecies of DaniEl, the professed YisraEl (Israel). In

other words, in the last days, it is the Seventh-day Adventist Church. “…to finish the

transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to

bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the

Most Holy.”

There will be seventy weeks, from the National Sunday Law, for Seventh-day Adventists to finish

the transgression. What is the transgression? It is the same as in the two previous chapters. It is the

thinking to change or take away the Appointed Worship Times, which Babylon did so that she could

institute the Mass. What is significant about her counterfeit feasts is that they have no connection to

the Heavenly Sanctuary (which YaHushua began ministering in at Pentecost in the midst of the

seventieth prophetic week) and the Day of Atonement (when YaHushua began ministering in the

Most Holy at the Day of Atonement at the end of the 2300 prophetic days). The end goal is to make

an end of sins. It was for this purpose that our loving Saviour died on the cross and entered into His

Tamiyd ministry in the Heavenly Sanctuary thereafter.

But before there can be an end of sins, the transgression against the Tamiyd—in terms of violating

the Appointed Times and the purpose of the Appointed Times—must be finished. And from the

going forth of the Sunday and holiday decree, our people will have seventy weeks of probation, and

that is when individually our names will come up in the judgment of the living, which could be one

of the first weeks or one of the last; we have no way of knowing. Therefore, we must be verily

prepared for the National Sunday Law, whether we live in America or Korea or anywhere else. Sin

must close, and in order for it to close, we must embrace the Tamiyd and all of its Appointed Times.

“Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore

and to build YaHrushalayim (Jerusalem) unto the Mashiach (Messiah) the Prince shall be

seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall,

even in troublous times.” And it will indeed be troublous times. This is why Satan will be so easily

able to convince the world to keep Sunday sacred. His lie is that the trouble is from not keeping

Sunday, when in reality it is Satan’s own destructive acts, allowed by Elohim (God) for the

exceeding sins of our day, such as sodomy and various other sins. Now, why does it say “from the

going forth of the commandment to restore and to build YaHrushalayim”? Know ye not that we are

the spiritual YaHrushalayim—the real living thing? And that there are three decrees to rebuild and

restore us unto entire cessation from sins, and that these decrees are called the Three Angels’

Messages, to be given with a Loud Cry? Oh yes, my friends. Therefore, the Sunday decree will

actually be a decree to our people that we as a people have seventy weeks to finish the Torah

transgression against the Tamiyd, and our name could come up for review at any time.

“And after threescore and two weeks shall Mashiach (Messiah) be cut off, but not for himself:

and the people of the prince (Satan, the prince of darkness) that shall come shall destroy the

city and the sanctuary…” “That will be the end of the Seventh-day Adventist Church as we know it.

Satan will work through the government to close down any Seventh-day Adventist institution for

transgressing against the counterfeit Tamiyd—Sunday and what it stands for (the continuation of

sin). Mashiach (Messiah) will be cut off from any among us who did not receive Him as the Voice of

the Living Torah, those who refused His atoning blood, to be cleansed therein, for the pleasures of

this world. “For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened (Seventh-day Adventism), and

have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ruach (Spirit), And have

tasted the good Word of Elohim (God), and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away,

to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves Ben haElohim (the Son of

God) afresh, and put Him to an open shame” (Hebrews 6:4-6).

I preach a solemn message tonight, my friends. Just as the professed nation of Elohim (God)

crucified their one and only Saviour afresh in the seventieth prophetic week, history will be

repeated in the literal seventieth week; YaHushua (Jesus) will be cut off from our people, those who

refused Him while He still pleaded His blood for them. He will be crucified afresh; and they will find

no repentance in their hardened hearts, “but a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery

indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Mosheh’s (Moses') Law (that is,

the theocracy of old) died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer

punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden underfoot Ben haElohim

(the Son of God), and hath counted the blood of the Covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an

unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Ruach (Spirit) of grace? For we know Him that hath

said, Vengeance belongeth unto Me, I will recompense, saith YaHuWaH (Jehovah). And again,

YaHuWaH (Jehovah) shall judge His people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of El Chay (the

Living God)” (Hebrews 10:27-31). And judgment it will be my friends. For seventy weeks the Loud

Cry to finish transgressing the Torah and its Tamiyd will have especially gone out to our own

people. They will have been warned; and this warning message is going out now as I speak.

“…and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war it shall be cut off by

desolations…” There will be a flood of persecution against those who transgress Sunday with its

counterfeit Tamiyd. This persecution will purify the contrite ones, but it will cause many to reject

the message they once loved as well as the new light. The straight testimony will cause a shaking

and the nominal Adventists will be enraged against those who stand so stiffly for the Torah of

YaHuWaH (Jehovah) and they, our own brethren, will be the worst of all persecutors. But there is

also hope in this Verse. The flood of persecution, at the end of the war, shall be cut off by

desolations. Yea, desolations will be determined against all who persist in transgressing the Torah

and its Tamiyd with its Appointed Times. The war between the Tamiyds will end in desolations

upon Babylon the Great desolator.

“And He (Mashiach) shall confirm the Covenant with many for one week…” This Covenant is of

great interest to us. We will continue studying it as we go through, but it is the New Covenant of the

Living Torah being written in our hearts, that we may transgress the Torah no more, as it is written

back again in Hebrews 10: “This is the Covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith

YaHuWaH (Jehovah), I will put My Torah (Law) into their hearts, and in their minds will I write it;

And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. Now where remission of these is, there is no

more offering for sin” (Verses 16 to 18). And that is exactly where the Moreh vision continues in

DaniEl 9: “…and in the midst of the week He (Mashiach) shall cause the sacrifice and the

oblation to cease…” Just as it was with the nation of professed Yisrael (IsraEl) who crucified their

one and only Saviour, so it will be with His professed people in these last days. And at that time, He

shall cause His own Sacrifice and Oblation to cease, just as sacrifice and oblation ceased in the

earthly Temple of the nation. His blood will still continue to plead for those who never yet heard the

gospel of the Everlasting Covenant, as it will go out only to the Gentiles of the world after the

seventy weeks expires. Many will come out of the fallen churches, but by then it will be too late for

the nominal Adventists.

“…And for the overspreading of abominations He (Mashiach) shall make it desolate, even

until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolater.” Again,

nominal Adventists who join with the desolater, Babylon, will be made desolate themselves until

the consummation of Babylon. From that point on will be the determined judgments of the seven

trumpets and the seven last plagues. Babylon, along with the nominal Adventists who join unto her,

will come to an end.

Thus, the events corresponding with the 70 prophetic weeks and the 2300 prophetic days did not

fully fulfill what was prophesied; they only set the stage for what was to come. More specifically,

when Mashiach (Messiah) was crucified at Calvary in the midst of the seventieth prophetic week,

there was not an end of sins; but He became our Sacrifice at Calvary for that very purpose! Likewise,

when He entered the Most Holy Place on the Day of Atonement of 1844 at the end of the 2300

prophetic days, the Sanctuary was not cleansed; but He began His Tamiyd ministry there for that

very purpose! Do you see the pattern here?

Prophetic time, was just that—prophecy. Before Mashiach (Messiah) breathed His last and cried out

“It is finished”, it was a prophecy. Sin would be finished through His Sacrifice, this end goal was

prophesied. In completing His work on earth, and causing animal sacrifices to end, He began the

process by which sin may come to an end through His atoning Sacrifice. The Greek word for

‘finished’ is ‘teleo’, which means a process of completion; but the actual completion comes when the

70 weeks and 2300 days become literal. Then it will be His own Sacrifice and Oblation that ceases,

for sin will have ended and there will be no more need for expiation from sins through His

atonement. He will forever be the Lamb, the Great Sacrifice, but His crimson atonement in the

Heavenly Sanctuary will forever cease.

“Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people … to finish the transgression, and to make

an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting

righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy.” Everlasting

righteousness will be brought to the 144,000 who will be sealed, and this is what seals up the vision

and prophecy. The anointing of the Most Holy most literally applies to the Most Holy Place of the

Heavenly Sanctuary. This is when it will be cleansed from all sin by the final drops of Mashiach’s

(Messiah’s) blood. This will actually happen at the end of the 2300 days, which the 70 weeks of the

same Moreh vision is cut off from; but in respect to the sealed among YisraEl, their sins will be

ended ahead of time in the seventieth week.

We must move on, because we have so much more to cover, but I hope you are getting the whole

scope of this. Events that transpire this fall will usher in the time of these prophecies very rapidly.

So I hope you are getting ready. And that’s what this message is for. We must partake of the

mysterious Tamiyd experience. So let’s keep developing it as we move forward.

Let’s now move on to a portion of DaniEl 11—Verses 30 to 35. I want us to explore what the

Covenant is that we just read about in DaniEl 8 and Hebrews 10, as it distinctly reappears here in

DaniEl 11. Then we will have a big picture to work with so that we can hone in on the Tamiyd part

of it. The context seems to be after the 70 weeks has ended and runs through the 1260 days, which

begins 504 days later. Just as 538 AD (beginning of the 1260 prophetic days) was 504 prophetic

days after 34 AD (end of the 70 prophetic weeks), so will it be in the antitype. Again, this prophecy

in DaniEl 11 has typical and antitypical fulfillments. The king of the north is the ‘he’ we will read.

‘North’ represents the throne of Elohim (God), which Satan usurps through his kingdom Babylon;

and he does it through taking away the Tamiyd truth and setting up the abomination in its place.

Again, the Words of Scripture will be in bold…

“He shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the Holy Covenant…” Notice

the word ‘against’. This is the same word we see in DaniEl 8, as in “the transgression against the

Tamiyd”. Thus, we see that the Holy Covenant and the true Tamiyd are connected!

“…So shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the Holy

Covenant. And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall bore into the Sanctuary of

Strength, and shall take away the Tamiyd, and they shall set up the abomination that maketh

desolate.” It is quite possible that “them that forsake the Holy Covenant” are they who once walked

in it, but then became nominal and made intelligence with Babylon to try to do away with the holy

ones who still embrace the Holy Covenant, the 144,000. The “arms”, as in the type in 508 AD, are

military forces. The “Sanctuary of Strength” is the Heavenly Sanctuary—strength to those who are

saved therein by the blood of the Lamb. But how does military power bore into the Heavenly

Sanctuary? It is verily through trying to kill the ones who believe in the Sanctuary of Strength, the

holy ones whose hearts are there. How do they know who believes? It is verily by their jealously

guarding the Appointed Times of the Bible, primarily the Seventh-day Sabbath and not observing

Sunday and the counterfeit feasts. The king of the north thinks that if he can just rid the earth of

these holy ones, he will be able to take away the Tamiyd truth and set up the abomination in its

place. And notice, in contrast to the ‘transgression’ that we see in DaniEl 8, here we see

‘abomination’ instead. That is because at the beginning of the 70 weeks it was the National Sunday

Law. But this time it is an international law, and we clearly see that military force is involved. That

means that it is not just that you can’t buy or sell if you don’t keep Sunday sacred, but now you are

killed. Again, it is the combined abomination of church and state united and forced worship on the

counterfeit Holy Days, which stand for the abominable Mass that replaces the true Tamiyd. The

decree goes out a month before it is enforced (the difference between the 1260 days and the 1290

days).

“And such as do wickedly against the Covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people

that do know Elohecha (their God) shall be strong, and do exploits.” These exploits are exploits

of truth. They will continue to defend the truth. The fire of the Word will destroy the stronghold, the

lies, of Babylon. Yet many of the faithful will be killed. We have falsely assumed that there will not

be martyrs among the 144,000. DaniEl and Revelation prophesy otherwise…

“And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the

sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days. Now when they shall fall, they

shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries. And some of

them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to

the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.” Those that fall will not be the sealed.

They are those “Gentiles” who have newly heard the faith, which will be severely tried through the

intense persecution. Those that pass the test of persecution will be sealed. These “many days” are

the 1260, 1290, and 1335 days that we will see in DaniEl 12, which Luke’s account of YaHushua’s

Words calls “the times of the Gentiles”: “And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led

away captive into all nations: and YaHrushalayim (Jerusalem) shall be trodden down of the

Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled” (Luke 21:24). It is the times for the Gentiles to

hear the Loud Cry Message, when many will be converted, but it is also the times that the Gentiles

persecute the ones who proclaim the Holy Covenant.

We see this also taught in Revelation 12: “But the court which is without the Temple leave out, and

measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the Holy City shall they tread underfoot 42

months. And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy 1260 days, clothed

in sackcloth” (vs. 2, 3). The two witnesses are the Old and New Testaments, specifically the books of

DaniEl and Revelation, as we are studying here. They prophesy in sackcloth because they are in the

wilderness as YaHushua commanded them: “When ye therefore shall see the abomination of

desolation, spoken of by DaniEl the prophet, stand in the Holy Place, (whoso readeth, let him

understand:) Then let them which be in YaHudah (Judaea) flee into the mountains” (Matt. 24:15,

16). We will be in the wilderness, yet like in the type of the Waldenses during the prophetic 1260

days, we will go to villages and secretly proclaim the Holy Covenant. Others will prophesy from

prisons.

It will be the most trying time Elohim’s (God’s) people have ever seen. Now let’s read from DaniEl

12, Verses 10 to 12: “Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall

do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand. And

from the time that the Tamiyd shall be taken away to set up the abomination, there shall be

1290 days. Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the 1335 days.” Something will happen at

the end of the 1335 days. We will find out more in the unrolling of the scroll. We will just have to

wait for it and see what it is!

Now, let’s look at the big picture. First, the Holy Covenant: “[YaHuWaH (Jehovah)] declared unto

you His Covenant, which He commanded you to perform, even Ten Commandments; and He

wrote them upon two tables of stone. And YaHuWaH (Jehovah) commanded me at that time to

teach you Statutes and Judgments, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go over to

possess it” (Deut. 4:13, 14). Thus, we see that the Holy Covenant is summarized in the Ten

Commandments and explained in the Statutes and Judgments—that is, the Book of the Covenant.

But the Covenant is more than just words written on stone or paper. It is a Covenant, an agreement,

between two parties: YaHuWaH (Jehovah) and His people, YisraEl (Israel). This agreement is that

they will jealously guard everything that is commanded in the Torah, and thus they will receive

their inheritance, the land of YisraEl (Israel), which is antitypically fulfilled in the new earth. All the

holy ones who have ever lived await this promise to be fulfilled, but it won’t happen until this Torah

is sealed in the 144,000 holy ones, that they are no longer transgressing it. But how will this

happen? And how will this happen so soon, seeing that we are right here at the end of time?

I want us to get the big picture tonight, and by the end you will discover what the glorious mystery

of twilight is!

Picture the Holy Covenant, symbolized on the two tables of stone, but the reality of it being the

Living Torah—even YaHushua (Jesus)—living and dwelling in our hearts. Then picture the Holy

Covenant having two aspects to it: TIME and PLACE.

First of all, where is the place of the Holy Covenant—in symbol, and in reality? In symbol, it resides

in the Most Holy Place of the Sanctuary of Strength, itself symbolized by the earthly Sanctuary.

There is the Ark of the Covenant, with the Tables of the Covenant squarely inside and the Book of

the Covenant in the side, which I believe is inside in a special compartment. But it is also written,

“Ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Mashiach (Messiah) ministered by us, written not

with ink, but with the Ruach (Spirit) of El Chay (the Living God); not in tables of stone, but in fleshly

tables of the heart” (2 Cor. 3:3). And again it is written, “Know ye not that ye are the temple of

Elohim (God), and that the Ruach (Spirit) of Elohim (God) dwelleth in you? If any man defile the

temple of Elohim (God), him shall Elohim (God) destroy; for the temple of Elohim (God) is holy,

which temple ye are” (1 Cor. 3:16, 17).

This whole concept of us being the temple and our hearts being the real tables Elohim (God) wants

His Torah sealed in, originates in the Torah itself: “YaHuWaH (Jehovah) will again rejoice over thee

for good, as He rejoiced over thy fathers: If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of YaHuWaH Elohecha

(Jehovah thy God), to guard His Commandments and His Statutes which are written in this Book of

the Torah, and if thou turn unto YaHuWaH Elohecha (Jehovah thy God) with all thine heart, and

with all thy soul. For this Commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee,

neither is it far off. It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and

bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say,

Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? But the Word is

very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it” (Deut. 30:9-14).

Remember in DaniEl 8, Verse 11, the phrase, “the place of His Sanctuary was cast down”? This place,

being the Sanctuary of Strength, the Heavenly Sanctuary, was cast down through setting up

counterfeit feasts which have no bearing to the Sanctuary like Pentecost and Day of Atonement do.

And this place was cast down in the place of many hearts. Unbelief in the doctrine of the Heavenly

Sanctuary, the place of the Holy Covenant, disqualifies the place of the heart to have the Torah to be

sealed there, because it is not understood that all sin—that is, all transgression of the Torah—must

come to an end by the Day of Atonement after the 2300 days. The counterfeit feasts of Mary and

saints places the emphasis of atonement on fallen humanity and not Mashiach (Messiah). Therefore,

let us receive both the doctrine of the Holy Covenant in the place of the Sanctuary of Strength and

the experience of the Holy Covenant in the place of our hearts.

But the question remains, how will this sealing experience come? We have seen the PLACE of the

Holy Covenant, now it is time to see the TIME of the Holy Covenant; because, remember, the Holy

Covenant consists of both TIME and PLACE. The TIME is the glorious mystery we are seeking for

tonight, so let us tap into its awesome glories! Let us behold wondrous things out of the Torah!

The TIME of the Holy Covenant is the ‘TAMIYD’. But so far we have only introduced the Tamiyd; we

have not beheld the infinite treasures it holds. At its most basic level, Tamiyd consists of perpetual

“mornings and evenings”, the description given for the 2300 days. This is the basic building block of

Hebrew time, and hence the time of reality. But how does this fundamental time relate to the

Moedim (Appointed Times), and how does it connect with YaHushua’s continual ministry as

Intercessor? These are the mysteries we shall quickly uncover.

I want you to add to the big picture, the picture of a structure called the Moedim. This falls under

the TIME aspect of the Holy Covenant. It has a foundation beneath pillars and a platform on the top.

Again, the foundation is the perpetual mornings and evenings; this is where our intent focus will be

tonight, where we will see marvelous things. The pillars are monthly and annual Moedim. The

platform they all support and guard is the Seventh-day Sabbath. The foundation, pillars, and

platform are all Moedim, even YaHuWaH’s (Jehovah’s) Appointed Times.

Know ye not that the mornings and evenings, the Sabbaths, and New Moons are all Moedim—holy

unto YaHuWaH (Jehovah)? Let me show you this awesome reality from Numbers 28, Verses 1 to 15.

“And YaHuWaH (Jehovah) spake unto Mosheh (Moses), saying, Command the children of YisraEl

(Israel), and say unto them, My offering, and My bread for My sacrifices made by fire, for a sweet

savour unto me, shall ye observe to offer unto me in their Moedim (Appointed Times)” (vs. 1, 2).

This introduces the typical sacrifices made at each of the Moedim. Verses 3 to 8 explains the

foundational Moed, the Tamiyd. Here it is: “And thou shalt say unto them, This is the offering made

by fire which ye shall offer unto YaHuWaH (Jehovah); two lambs of the first year without spot day

by day, for a Tamiyd burnt offering. The one lamb shalt thou offer in the morning, and the other

lamb shalt thou offer at even; And a tenth part of an ephah of flour for a meat offering, mingled with

the fourth part of a hin of beaten oil. It is a Tamiyd burnt offering, which was ordained in Mount

Sinai for a sweet savour, a sacrifice made by fire unto YaHuWaH (Jehovah).”

Next is the weekly Moed, in Verses 9 and10: “And on the Sabbath Day two lambs of the first year

without spot, and two tenth deals of flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, and the drink

offering thereof: This is the burnt offering of every Sabbath, beside the Tamiyd burnt offering, and

his drink offering. And the drink offering thereof shall be the fourth part of a hin for the one lamb:

in the Holy Place shalt thou cause the strong wine to be poured unto YaHuWaH (Jehovah) for a

drink offering.”

Next is the monthly Moed, in Verses 11 to 15: “And in the beginnings of your New Moons ye shall

offer a burnt offering unto YaHuWaH (Jehovah); two young bullocks, and one ram, seven lambs of

the first year without spot; And three tenth deals of flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, for

one bullock; and two tenth deals of flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, for one ram; And a

several tenth deal of flour mingled with oil for a meat offering unto one lamb; for a burnt offering of

a sweet savour, a sacrifice made by fire unto YaHuWaH (Jehovah). And their drink offerings shall be

half a hin of wine unto a bullock, and the third part of a hin unto a ram, and a fourth part of a hin

unto a lamb: this is the burnt offering of every New Moon throughout the New Moons of the year.

And one kid of the goats for a sin offering unto YaHuWaH (Jehovha) shall be offered, beside the

Tamiyd burnt offering, and his drink offering.”

There we have it. We have been trying to nail the Moedim to the cross without realizing that we are

also nailing the sacred times of mornings and evenings we are to offer unto YaHuWaH (Jehovah)

the sweet incense of prayers in our devotions with Him. Not only this, but we have nailed the

Sabbaths and New Moons to the cross, when they are both eternalized in YashaYaHu (Isaiah) 66,

Verses 22 and 23: “For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain

before Me, saith YaHuWaH (Jehovah), so shall your seed and your name remain. It shall come to

pass, that from one New Moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to

worship before Me, saith YaHuWaH (Jehovah).”

Friends, the Moedim are all Sacred Seasons for worship. They are not sacrifices. In Leviticus 23,

they are called “Holy Convocations”, with the Sabbath being the primary one. It is not ceremonial,

but moral, that we meet together with YaHuWaH (Jehovah) at His Appointed Times. It is time for us

to repent and walk in the light now shining from the Holy Torah, that YaHuWaH (Jehovah) may

make His Holy Covenant with us. We have caused the weekly Sabbath to trample the annual Holy

Days and the annual Holy Days to trample the Tamiyd of mornings and evenings. It is time for us to

see the whole and no longer walk in darkness. All of YaHuWaH’s (Jehovah’s) Moedim are holy.

But tonight we want to focus on the Tamiyd, the perpetual cycle of mornings and evenings. First, let

us see what Sister White says about them, then we will analyze them more closely to uncover the

glorious gems hidden beneath the dust of error and ignorance that make up this glistening

foundation for the Moedim structure. The Man with the Dirtbrush is coming to dust off the rubbish!

The context for this first quote involves ancient YisraEl (Israel) as she make application for today,

and notice that she calls them appointed hours (thus linking it with the Moedim); the context is the

Tamiyd services of the earthly sanctuary as the people united with the priests: “They united in

silent prayer, with their faces toward the holy place. Thus their petitions ascended with the cloud of

incense, while faith laid hold upon the merits of the promised Saviour prefigured by the atoning

sacrifice. THE *HOURS APPOINTED* FOR THE MORNING AND EVENING SACRIFICE WERE

REGARDED AS SACRED, and they came to be observed as the set time for worship throughout the

YaHudi (Jewish) nation. And when in later times the YaHudim (Jews) were scattered as captives in

distant lands, ***they still at the APPOINTED HOUR turned their faces toward YaHrushalayim

(Jerusalem) and offered up their petitions to El YisraEl (the God of Israel)***. In this custom

Mashianics (Christians) have an example for morning and evening prayer. While Elohim (God)

condemns a mere round of ceremonies, without the spirit of worship, He looks with great pleasure

upon those who love Him, bowing morning and evening to seek pardon for sins committed and to

present their requests for needed blessings" (Patriarchs and Prophets, p. 353).

This is sacred time, brothers and sisters!

Here is another gem of a quote: “Like the patriarchs of old, those who profess to love Elohim (God)

should erect an altar to YaHuWaH (the Lord) wherever they pitch their tent . . . Fathers and mothers

should often lift up their hearts to Elohim (God) in humble supplication for themselves and their

children. Let the father, as priest of the household, lay upon the altar of Elohim (God) the

morning and evening sacrifice, while the wife and children unite in prayer and praise. In such a

household YaHushua (Jesus) will love to tarry. Let the members of every family bear in mind that

they are closely allied to heaven. YaHuWaH (The Lord) has a special interest in the families of His

children here below. Angels offer the smoke of the fragrant incense for the praying saints. Then in

every family let prayer ascend to heaven both in the morning and at the cool sunset hour, in our

behalf presenting before Elohim (God) the Saviour's merits. Morning and evening the heavenly

universe take notice of every praying household” (Child Guidance, p. 519).

Sister White disproves here that the ancient morning and evening sacrifices took place at 9:00 AM

and 3:00 PM as we have been accustomed to think. True, Mashiach (Messiah) was crucified at about

3:00 PM when the evening sacrifice was being made by the priests of the earthly Temple. But what

we fail to realize is that this is not when it was anciently done. The Pharisees of that time had been

influenced by Hellenism—that is, Greek thought. The third, sixth, and ninth hours were held by the

Roman world, but anciently the Torah did not have these hours. How can I be so sure about that?

Because YaHuWaH (Jehovah) said that all of the ceremonies of the Passover occur on the 14th Day

of the first month (see Numbers 9:3). In the Passover of the Exodus, a lamb was slain after sunset,

the death angel passed over at midnight, and the leftovers were burnt before morning on the same

day (see Exodus 12:3-29).

But we must dig deeper yet. When exactly is ‘evening’ and ‘morning’ according to the Hebrew

words of Scripture. Dear brothers and sisters, this is where the rich treasures of truth lie that we

have been searching for. This is what we must uncover.

Let us begin with the morning. The Hebrew word is ‘boqer’, which properly means ‘dawn’. Dawn is

not sunrise, but rather when light begins penetrating the night sky. But we must still dig deeper to

where some treasures are. The primitive root of the word ‘boqer’ is ‘baqer’. Now we are going to

find some meaning. ‘Baqer’ means ‘to plough’, or ‘to break forth’. It also means to inquire, admire,

search, or seek out. Oh friends, this is when we are to seek YaHuWaH with all of our hearts. This is

when we are to be born again in the womb of the morning! How are we born again? By the Word of

Elohim (God)! We are to seek YaHuWaH (Jehovah) in His Word morning by morning. We are also to

worship, or admire, Him—not just heartlessly reading without worshiping Him in His Word and

holding communion with Him.

My friends, are you starting to see the process by which the sealing will take place in these last days

through the Moedim, particularly the Tamiyd? It is written, “But unto you that fear My Name shall

Shemesh Tsedaqah (the Sun of Righteousness) arise with healing in His wings” (Malachi 4:2). This

is what the breaking forth is! Shemesh Tsedaqah is to break forth upon our hearts with His bright

beams morning by morning.

Now let us read portions Sister White’s Dorchester vision in 1848, as recorded by Joseph Bates,

regarding the Sabbath seal as it breaks forth out of the East: “Where did the light break out? Let

Thine angels teach us where the light broke out! It commenced from a little, then Thou didst give

one light after another. The testimony and Commandments are linked together, they cannot be

separated; that comes first the Ten Commandments, by Elohim (God). The Commandments never

would be struck against if it were not to get rid of the Sabbath Commandment … It was very small,

and when it rose, though it rose in strength, it was weak back there, when it came up it increased. If

they won't hear it they are as accountable as though they did hear it. He was well pleased when His

Law began to come up in strength, and the waste places began to be built up. Out of weakness it has

become strong from searching His Word … The truth arises and is on the increase, stronger, and

stronger. It's the seal! It's coming up! It arises, commencing from the rising of the sun … O the

power of these rays … It arose there in the east, it began with a small light, but its beams are

healing. O how mighty is that truth; it's the highest after they enter the goodly land, but it will

increase till they are made immortal. It commenced from the rising of the sun, keeps on its course

like the sun, but it never sets. The angels are holding the four winds. It is God that restrains the

powers. The angels have not let go, for the saints are not all sealed. The time of trouble has

commenced, it is begun. The reason why the four winds have not let go, is because the saints are not

all sealed. It’s on the increase, and will increase more and more; the trouble will never end until the

earth is rid of the wicked … Why they are just ready to blow. There's a check put on because the

saints are not sealed … Look ye! That rising is in strength, and grows brighter and brighter. That

truth is the seal, that's why it comes last. The shut door we have had. God has taught and taught, but

that experience is not the seal, and that Commandment that has been trodden underfoot will be

exalted. And when ye get that you will go through the time of trouble. Yea, all that thou art looking

at, thou shalt not see just now. Be careful, let no light be set aside which comes from another

way from which thou art looking for.”

The wise will let no light be set aside. They will see that the Tamiyd is the foundation for the

Moedim which uphold the Sabbath seal, the platform that will decide the destiny for all who live on

earth in these last days. Morning by morning, we are to settle into the truth intellectually and

spiritually as the bright beams of Shemesh Tsedaqah break forth upon our hearts. This is vital to the

sealing process.

Now let’s look at a Scripture that uses the word ‘baqer’, the root word for morning.

“One thing have I desired of YaHuWaH (Jehovah), that will I baqash (seek after, a related word to

baqer); that I may dwell in the House of YaHuWaH (Jehovah) all the days of my life, to behold the

beauty of YaHuWaH (Jehovah), and to baqar (inquire) in His Temple” (Psalm 20:4). We can dwell in

the Sanctuary of Strength at the Appointed Times, including the Tamiyd; this is where we meet with

Him. This is where we can be cleansed by the blood of the Lamb and understand great mysteries.

Now let us go to the other half of the Tamiyd: the evening. The Hebrew word is ‘ereb’, which means

to grow dark or dusky. It also conveys the idea of a covering, or a raven, which is dark. Friends,

again, evening is not sunset. It is not a point of time, but, like all the other Moedim, it is a period of

time. It extends the Sabbaths and Holy Days beyond sunset; it begins at sun-down, but continues as

the light of the previous day grows fainter and fainter. Dear friends, along with the morning part of

the Tamiyd, it is called twilight.

It is exceptionally holy. We are not to rush through it. Glorious mysteries appear at twilight in the

sky. Sunsets of just about every color, texture, and shape are painted on the canvass of heaven by

the Great YaHuWaH (Jehovah). It is a perfect time to meet with Him in reflection; outdoors,

watching the sunset, is very fitting. One of the great mysteries of twilight is that it is impossible to

determine its length. At what point has a new day, through its night, begun? Is it when all the red

disappears? Is it when the milky way appears? It is a mystery. But it is this very mystery that

describes the Tamiyd.

In the earthly Sanctuary, sacrifices were placed on the altar and they continued burning and

burning. Incense was burned, with continued radiating its fragrance indefinitely. The bread placed

on the table of showbread continued its presence there all week. The candles of the Menorah were

lit and continued their unceasing shining. In Creation Week, the beginning of the Moedim on this

earth, it is written, “And the evening and the morning were the first day” (Gen. 1:5); and so like it

for the next six days. The evening and morning there are the same two Hebrew words. Thus, we can

see that since twilight is undefinable, its influence is continual, unceasing. The days are thus divided

into evening—twelve hours on average—and morning—twelve hours on average. The process is

continual, Tamiyd.

The sacred twilight when we come to meet with YaHuWaH (Jehovah) flows its influence throughout

each day and night. We are kept in continual communion. Twilight begins each Holy Day, most

frequently, the Sabbath; thus making the Holy Days part of the same Tamiyd. Also, the sacrifices

made on the Holy Days, in type, occurred at twilight along with the Tamiyd sacrifices, thus making

the services of the mornings and evenings on those Days extended. This is why we have Sabbath

vespers on Sabbath Eve and morning church services on Sabbath; it should be the same case with

New Moons and Holy Days.

Since the Tamiyd and the Moedim are united, we enter into Sabbath rest for six mornings and

evenings, we see the rise and wane of a Moon—a cycle symbolizing the Holy Covenant—for 29 or

30 mornings and evenings, we enter into the Pentecost season for 50 mornings and evenings, and

we progress through the days of awe for ten mornings and evenings from Trumpets to Atonement.

And these cycles continue day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year—both

regular and unceasing. This is the Tamiyd, which finds its origin in the sacred twilight.

Thus we see the mysterious relationship between the sacred and the mundane. They work

together. This is why the Moedim are everyday realities, and not just places on a calendar. We enter

into their experiences through the Tamiyd, morning by morning, evening by evening,

But let us go deeper yet. We have only seen the word for evening, ‘ereb’. This is the greatest

mystery. It is what ties the Tamiyd time together with the Tamiyd atonement. Its primitive root

word is ‘arab’. On a basic level it means ‘to braid’, ‘to intermix’, or ‘to mingle’. This sounds very

fitting for twilight, which is the mingling between night and day, day and night. But as I continued

looking at the root word ‘arab’, I found the glorious spiritual level of its meaning, and you can look

this up in the concordance for yourself: ‘to give or be security (as a kind of exchange); ‘to give

pledges’; ‘to become surety’; ‘to undertake’.

Oh dear brothers and sisters, this is the greatest mystery I’ve wanted to share with you. Don’t you

see it? This is atonement language of YaHushua haMashiach (Jesus the Messiah)! He gave Himself to

humanity as a divine exchange, so that Elohim (God) could secure humanity to Himself! The Father

and the Son pledged Themselves to make the infinite Sacrifice—that is, the Father would give His

one and only Son, His best beloved, one just like Himself, to humanity. The Son would become the

everlasting Sacrifice, eternally bearing humanity! He poured His life out to do this through eternally

divesting Himself of His omnipresence. In return, we receive this as the Person of the Holy Spirit—

His own omnipresence, divested from Himself. When we receive Him into our hearts, we are

sanctified. And in His humanity, He was given eternal wounds at Calvary, from which His blood

flows in the Sanctuary of Strength. He pours His life out to us for the remission of our sins. Once His

Sacrifice and Oblation has ceased, and the final plagues have been poured out, He will still ever shed

forth His sacred life in the form of bright beams, as the prophet Chavaquq (Habakkuk) saw in vision

in the Third Chapter.

“And His brightness was as the light; He had bright beams coming out of His side: and there

was the hiding of His power” (Hab. 3:4). “In Him was life; and the life was the light of men” (Jn.

1:4). “And the City had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of Elohim

(God) did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof” (Rev. 21:23). Glorious!

So, what does this have to do with the glorious mystery of twilight? Everything! The sunlight

represents the divinity of Mashiach (Messiah) and the darkness represents the humanity of

Mashiach (Messiah). We see this darkness at Calvary when He took upon Himself all the sins of the

world, thus virtually separating Himself from the Father’s glory. And He still bears our sins in the

Sanctuary of Strength. He still feels the sting of sin, until it comes to an end. But after sin is ended,

He will still bear the wounds, the only token left from the sins of a dark world eternally in the past.

But from those wounds will shine Tamiyd—that is, continual—bright beams of glory!

So, each twilight, a symbol of this divine mystery is repeated, morning after morning, evening after

evening. This is why the sacrifices of the typical system were repeated at these Sacred Times. But

now we commemorate the awesome incarnation—the mingling of YaHushua’s (Jesus’) divinity and

humanity—with His own life fulfilling it, not in type, but in reality. YaHushua (Jesus) will be the

Lamb of Life forever and ever—the Intercessor of all. There is always the mysterious twilight—

morning and evening—somewhere on earth. Thus, He receives Tamiyd, or continual, praise and

worship and the Tamiyd time is scattered throughout the earth. His intercession, and our prayer

and praise, will continue for all eternity, morning after morning, evening after evening, Sabbath

after Sabbath, New Moon after New Moon, and year after year among the annual Moedim.

Come out of Babylon, My people, and no longer be partakers of her sins! Don’t let her take away the

Tamiyd from you. YaHushua (Jesus) has given it to you. The Tamiyd Sacrifice is Himself. Your life is

His, and He is your life. You are to now celebrate and receive Him at all of His Appointed Times. It is

glorious! It is eternal! The Tamiyd is life everlasting—both through its time of the Moedim structure

and its Sacrifice: the perfect incarnation of YaHushua (Jesus)! It is the mystery of the mingling

between divinity and humanity! It is the divine exchange!

So come up to the marriage of the Lamb, to meet with Him at the Moedim! This is the Midnight Cry!

“And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the Bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet Him.

Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps” (Matt. 25:6, 7). “And the Spirit and the bride

say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will,

let him take the water of life freely” (Rev. 22:17).

Epilogue—Practically Guarding the Tamiyd

There are some extra insights to consider in our daily worship times unto YaHuWaH (Jehovah)…

The morning twilight comes very early and the evening twilight comes very late in the high

latitudes in the Spring and Summer. For this reason, we should not regard it sin to not wake up

early enough for morning twilight when it is only a few hours after midnight or to stay up late

enough for evening twilight if it is a few hours before midnight. The twilight hours are especially

sacred; however, the main point is that we do spend a minimum of two times a day in special

seasons of devotion.

One reason that I know it is not as critical as Moedim such as the Sabbath to have the timing just

right is the very fact that YaHushua (Jesus) allowed His crucifixion to be made when the erring

Hellenistic Pharisees were having their evening Tamiyd sacrifice, which was about 3:00 PM. He just

went with the system that was in place, but at the same time, we know that He was known for

spending entire nights in prayer, from the evening twilight unto the morning twilight; so I’m sure

He made good use of the twilight times in His earthly life. We should also keep in mind that since

the twilights are not definite in duration, they are considered to be the two parts of the 24-hour

day, the light part being the morning and the dark part being the evening, as we see in Creation.

So, I would say that it is best to get as close to twilight as we can. Sister White talks about how we

should have our devotion time, if at all possible, before we break our fast in the morning. She also

highly advocates the idea of early to bed, early to rise, which I know that I need to currently work

on, especially after just learning this light regarding the twilight of Tamiyd. If we have children, they

need more rest than adults, and so families with children may need to have their morning family

devotion after sunrise in Spring and Fall and their evening devotion before sunset in the Spring and

Fall, especially at high latitudes. It should also be noted that both personal and communal (whether

with the family or other believers in the community) devotions should be practiced. Both have their

purpose, and both were practiced in the typical system before the cross. Remember, Moedim are

also called Holy Convocations; so this principle would apply to the Tamiyd Moedim as well.

Another thing to consider is that the morning and evening Times should be the minimum of the

number of times we spend in special worship; and Dawid and DaniEl had a practice of spending

three times in a day, with the middle one being noon, thus making it a biblical principle that we

should all try to follow. “His windows being open in his chamber toward YaHrushalayim

(Jerusalem), he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before

Elohav (his God), as he did aforetime” (Dan. 6:10). “Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray,

and cry aloud: and He shall hear my voice” (Psalm 55:17). “Peter went up upon the housetop to

pray about the sixth hour” (noon) (Acts 10:9). Thus we have three witnesses of the three times per

day, and in light of the time we are living in, should not we strive to have a worship time at noon as

well, even if it is short?

Here is a website that will calculate your sunrise, mid-day, and sunset times, at your specific

location on a specific date, to assist you in planning the timing of your worship each day.

It is www.torahcalendar.com/SUNSET.asp

Please note that I’m not in agreement with the doctrines that ministry teaches but it is a great

resource to have on hand for calculating daily worship times.

I would also like to recommend some spiritual activities to enjoy during these Sacred Seasons.

Prayer is of course the most important. But pray from the heart. And focus on the spiritual meaning

of twilight, which again revolves around the divine-human nature of Mashiach (Messiah) and his

atonement in the Heavenly Sanctuary. Season your prayers with praises! If you can’t think of

anything, go to the Psalms. As for reading, I recommend all of the Holy Scriptures, including the Old

Testament Apocrypha, firmly advocated by Sister White. She has many grand writings to read from

as well. But take time to meditate and pray over what you read. Be in a discussion with Elohim

(God). Start it in the morning, and then continue this discussion, mingled with praises and petitions,

throughout the day.

Another reading that I highly recommend is reading daily from the earthly life of Mashiach

(Messiah), especially the closing scenes, in the four gospels and/or the Spirit of Prophecy

commentary on the gospels. Sister White recommends this practice as well. I have a monthly

reading guide to get you through the closing scenes in all four gospels each month at my website

www.brightbeams.org.

Another critical spiritual practice to include is claiming promises. Find promises that are perfect for

the struggles that you face and claim those in the morning. Claim other promises too. There are so

many beautiful promises to claim if you look for them.

If you are outside watching a sunrise or sunset, you may choose to quietly lay back and watch the

changing colors and commune with your Creator, sometimes even without words, just with a sense

of His presence and your mind lifted upward to Him. He may reveal things to you. You may want to

keep a notebook on hand and journal as well.

The most important thing in all of these activities is to remain in a state of worship. If you cannot do

this, pray for and practice, until it becomes a part of you. Then you can carry this wonderful

influence with you throughout your day and be a light to those around you. Remember, Elohim

(God) inhabits the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3). Praise is powerful, and is also exceedingly

joyful! You will see what I mean once you get used to practicing it.

Whether you are praising or praying, lift up your hands and face toward heaven. This is a biblical

practice and a good one that I have just begun implementing myseld, and it definitely enhances my

experience. The folding of hands is a tradition that has an ancient connotation of idleness and death,

but raising of hands carries a connotation of lively, reverent worship. If you are praying, you should

be on your knees as much as possible, which is advocated in both the Bible and the Spirit of

Prophecy. In certain prayers, such as when you are in a state of surrender, it may be most fitting to

have your face completely on the ground, another biblical position of prayer. The more we return to

the culture of the Bible, and away from the lifeless, formal culture many of us have, the more

enhanced our worship experience will be, and it will have a dramatic effect on our characters in our

sealing process.

May Elohim (God) bless you on your Tamiyd journey through the Moedim. May you find many

treasures along your path and be filled with the intense joy of heaven. Shalom.
