Tieto Quality Assurance Consultancy service includes people, processes, tools, and technology tied together to help the Customer achieve their quality goals and establish Testing Centre of Excellence (TCoE). Focus can be e.g. in Acceptance Test Management, Web Services Testing, Risk Based Testing, or Testing in SAFe/ DevOps Framework.

Quality Scan

Tieto Quality Scan analyzes how mature company or project quality processes are and provides steps to reach new maturity levels. Service is based on industry standards (CMMi, TMMi, TPI, and PMI) and DevOps, Lean and Agile principles. Our experienced, quality and testing certified (ISTQB, CMMI assessor, CISA) experts are at your service.

Test Automation

Tieto Test Automation Service provides a full stack solution including current state analysis, test automation framework, test automation planning, scripting, and tools. Tools include both partner-licensed and freeware e.g. Robot Framework, HPE UFT, Selenium, Ranorex, Cucumber, UI path. Work effort needed in manual testing can be decreased via test automation (especially in regression testing, verifying application releases’ functionality in different environments, and checking mathematical calculations) and at the same time test scope can be extended.

Performance Testing

Tieto Performance Testing Service improves customer experience via performance testing, performance troubleshooting and performance monitoring, load capabilities and scalability of applications with environments and tools (e.g., HPE StormRunner and JMeter).

Application Security Testing

Verification of application security is vital for eliminating potential breaches in data security and privacy. Tieto Application Security Testing includes both code analysis and penetration testing, performed by Tieto’s partner MicroFocus (former HPE). This service is available as a single assignment and 12-month continuous service for regular releases. Service scales up to hundreds of applications per customer, and enables continuous evaluation of application portfolio quality via an extensive dashboard. It also generates instructions for developers for fixing the vulnerabilities found, to quickly increase the quality of web and mobile applications.

Test Data Management

Service includes current situation assessment,

consultancy services (e.g. test data management strategy creation, risk evaluation, GDPR consultancy), test data protection and creation (e.g. data masking and synthetic data) and test data-on-demand services. Tieto provides expertise from CA Test Data Manager tools. Test data management services are needed for the compliance and coverage of test data related data protection requirements.

Service Virtualisation

Tieto Service Virtualisation includes technical platform, basic application support, components (enterprise dashboard, registry, and portal, virtual service environment), user privileges and add-on-services (consultancy, training). Tieto has expertise from CA Service Virtualisation and HPE Service Virtualisation tools. Service will be provided from Tieto data centres in EU area. With Service Virtualisation, application development can be accelerated when server/service environments and copies of third party services can rapidly be created according to needs of application development and testing. Also, various devices can be simulated e.g. for test automation in integration testing.

Test Tools as a Service

The market-leading test management tools and test environments from cloud. The service contains full package for developers and business decision-makers: web interface, global flexible licenses, analyses and reports for decision support, end-user support portal, device and application management as well as version upgrades. The pay-per-use model has brought remarkable cost savings for service users. There is a monthly service fee scaled per the needed user amounts. No need to purchase own licenses. Test Tools as a Service contains selected tools, e.g. HPE ALM, LoadRunner and StormRunner for performance testing and UFT for test automation. Test environments are provided via Tieto Enterprise Cloud Orchestrator tool. Test environments can be virtual/temporary according to customer needs. Servers are located in Finland or customer’s existing environment.
