A sampling of recent grant awards:
- A family operated maple syrup
producer in Kossuth Twp received funds to purchase equipment necessary to diversify their product line and increase sap collection capability.
- A value added food producer in
Trescott utilized grant funds to implement a plan to increase market presence and secured a TIF loan to replace aging equipment.
- Internet service providers received matching grant funds to expand broadband coverage to previously
un-served areas of Brookton and Big Lake Townships.
- In Edmunds, TIF planning funds were utilized to examine the feasibility of constructing a poultry processing facility, including a business plan and financial analysis.
