Those who have suffered and is still suffering from affliction, discrimination and social stigma. Inevitable part of life, pain is the most human experience yet the most destructive. It’s easy to give comfort to a friend or lend a shoulder to cry on but the unfortunate truth is that we’ll never know how it feels until it happens to us.. Till It Happens To you, a song written by Dianne Warren and sung by Lady Gaga for the documentary film, Hunting Ground sparked this project. The song was brilliantly written, raw, honest and somehow haunting. The lyrics goes, You tell me "hold your head up" Hold your head up and be strong Cause when you fall, you gotta get up You gotta get up and move on." Tell me, how the hell can you talk, How can you talk? Cause until you walk where I walk, It 's just no joke! Till it happens to you… An author once said, “That’s the thing about pain. It demands to be felt.” If we don’t know how it feels like, then who we are to judge?

To many, AIDS seems like a relic of a past age, as treatable as diabetes. Gone are the days when people left and right die of the virus like a ticking bomb. There is an available effective treatment to suppress the disease and now, no one couldn’t

care less about it. Yet for people living with the virus that causes it, the experience is more layered and complex. Once you tested positive, you can never unknow it. You have to learn to see yourself as a human living with HIV, not just a victim. But coming to terms of your new lifestyle will never come free of emotional struggles, mental fatigue and physical pain. Not to mention, the wholehearted acceptance of your family, friends and the

society.
