Tweeting Students Earn Higher Grades Than Others in Classroom Experiment
“Students chatting on Twitter both inside and outside the classroom got higher grades than their nontweeting peers in a recent experiment conducted at a medium-size public institution in the Midwest.
“At the end of the semester, the tweeters had grade-point averages half a point higher, on average, than did their nontweeting counterparts. And students who tweeted were more engaged.”

InstructionsFinding and using HTML embed code:
1. In the case of Twitter, Widget code can be generated by going to About > Resources. By and large, other services follow a similar methodology or possess a Tools area. (Or, Google for HTML Widgets.)
2. Generating embed code typically entails following a few easy instructions. Various options are specific to each service.
3. Once the embed code has been generated, it must be copied via selecting the code and using Edit > Copy (Ctrl+C).
4. Within the LCMS, a new Custom Widget must be created. After doing so, the copied code must be pasted (Ctrl+V) into the HTML Source Editor. Save the widget and add it to the course Homepage.
Copy embed code and
paste into HTML
Source Editor.
