Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year at Timberwood Middle School. My team is excited to have your family with us this year. TMS has a strong history of supportive parents that continuously step-up to help the school and most importantly help our students reach for the stars. We value this partnership with our families and know that students succeed best when we all work together.

This year we are kicking o� the TMS Annual Fund, which is a fundraising campaign that is a partnership between our school and our families. The fund bene�ts our students by providing enhanced opportunities for learning that are in line with our common goal: success for all students. Funds raised will help to enhance technology in the classroom and support STEM education opportunities.

Several other schools throughout Humble ISD have moved to an Annual Fund Campaign because of the impact this type of fundraising o�ers. Your gift to this campaign makes a much larger �nancial impact at TMS because we are able to retain 100% of the proceeds, unlike traditional third-party fundraising e�orts.

PANTHER PARTNERS – GIVING LEVELS Why is my gift directed to the Humble ISD Education Foundation?

In lieu of third-party fundraising e�orts, our campus has partnered with the Humble ISD Education Foundation to design a campaign that allows supporters to make a philanthropic gift in supportof Timberwood Middle School. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to support Humble ISD campuses, educators, and most importantly, our students.

Gifts made to the Annual Fund through the Foundation are tax-deductible as allowed by law and provide maximum matching gift potential as many companies will only match gifts to a 501(c)(3) organization. The Foundation manages the collection, reporting of donor gifts, as well as the receipting of donations.
