A prayer for all who find difficulty on this earth at thistime.

Oh you goddess of stars, who gives us your gift of light, why is it that wesee false darkness? I sent a signal fire to the Mountain God‘s Great Mother, mine of the starry skirt, whyfor us this darkness and Star? I call to you Great Spirit, to hear our prayers for all who suffer on this earth atthis time.

Black spirits of power, seek elsewhere your victims. I see the light - I find the light. Great Mother, mine of the starry skirt, I find the light. Dance all of you within this sacred world. In the circle where the prayer is and where your feet touch, spiritual visions chantthe name of your breathless things. Know the Great Spirit will read the meaning of all that you say. Do not feel alone. Notice in the shadows, the presence of Great Spirit. Notice the line of the body, strong and straight. Great Spirit, your face is a mystery. Your phantoms will become real. And soon, Great Spirit, your face will be seen and all that is strong will comeforward. The goodness of what we are in this human dilemma will dance the strides oftriumph. The dawn is coming. With joy and love in your heart, dance 'til the stars of morning merge into the glowof the sun.

When a shaman has climbed up to the shrine at the summit of the sacredmountain, it is as if all the world is far below. Sometimes that makes it lonely for theshaman there. Now experience your climb as a shaman to the summit. What is yourshrine at the summit of your sacred mountain? Look upwards to the stars, see thelight in the heavens above you. See the stars as the eyes of the Great Spirit whohas watched over your shrine, all of your dances and all of your prayers. Reflect onthe gift of light from the Stars and what you have received to see through thedarkness in the world.
