Time for me to go now, I won't say goodbye;
Look for me in rainbows, way up in the sky.
In the morning sunrise when all the world is new,
Just look for me and love me, as you know I loved you.
Time for me to leave you, I won't say goodbye;
Look for me in rainbows, high up in the sky.
In the evening sunset, when all the world is through,
Just look for me and love me, and I'll be close to you.
It won't be forever, the day will come and then
My loving arms will hold you, when we meet again.
Time for us to part now, we won't say goodbye;
Look for me in rainbows, shining in the sky.
Every waking moment, and all your whole life through
Just look for me and love me, as you know I loved you.
Just wish me to be near you,
And I'll be there with you.
The Family of Mrs. Cornelia Patterson wish to thank all of you for your
support, donations and prayers during this difficult time of loss. We want
to express our heartfelt gratitude and say thank you to each one of you.
Please know that your many acts of kindness will never be forgotten.

“One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in
the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of
the Lord and to seek him in his temple. For in the day of trouble he
will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his
sacred tent and set me high upon a rock.”
Psalm 27:4-5
Mrs. Cornelia Patterson was born March 18, 1933 in Allendale County,
South Carolina to the late Pinckney and Pearlie Williams Patterson. She
departed this life on July 24, 2017 at Providence Health in Columbia,
South Carolina.
Cornelia received her early education in the Allendale County public
school system. She later moved to Columbia and began working as a
maid. She enjoyed baking and was an awesome cook! Cornelia was the
greatest Mother, Grandmother and Aunt that a family could ever have.
She leaves to cherish precious memories and special times: her son
David A. Patterson of Columbia, South Carolina; a sister, Alberta Holman,
also of Columbia; eleven grandchildren: Latoya Brown, ShaKalle D.
Moore, Dashia T. Patterson, David A. Patterson, Jr., Travis Roach, Kevin
L. Gallman, all of Columbia, South Carolina, Kierra S. Washington of
Greenville, South Carolina, Kadeja A. Thomas of Florence, South
Carolina, Anissa Flowers of Augusta, Georgia, Tamir Cherry of
Charleston, South Carolina and Datron Washington; nine great-
grandchildren; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and
dear friends.
For all you were to me in life
And all the joy you brought,
Your memory is with me in every single thought.
The pain I felt at losing you
Will never go away,
But knowing that
You're in my heart
Helps me through each day.
When you were here I always felt
That nothing could go wrong.
But you're still my inspiration,
And your memory keeps me strong.
And though my heart is heavy
It's also full of love,
And that's enough to comfort me
While you're in heaven above.
