Topic :
Time Management"
Introduction :The project describes how to control , manage and monitor time
spent by students at school and at home . It also describes the
time management procedures step by-step , explaining how to
use time sheets and Time management solutions and suggestions. Finally there will be a record of all the distractions and time
wasters .
Ideas :
-Identifying the time wasters that hinder students from having
free and useful time. This means that getting to the root of the
problem is the best and the most essential key that reinforces our
project
-Taking action strategies that can help with considering the
solutions.
Distributing questionnaires to recognize the students views,
and can help with getting to an accurate analysis. In addition, we
can consult some specialists and ask them for help .
My essential participation is :
-Setting a group of weekly activity schedules - sample time
management tool and template or time management techniques,
tools and time management skills training. Here is a sample of a
timetable that I suggest each student should follow if he or she
wants to manage their weekly time:

Project Questionnaire
There has been a bad need to conduct a questionnaire that can help with
analysing the Time Distractors and also the reasons for wating time.
Here is the questionnaire pattern:
Do You..1. Undertake work as it appears, rather than in order of priority?2. Accept unimportant interruptions when working on an urgent task?3. Say ³yes´ to work requests even when unsuitable or unreasonable?
4. Put off tasks which are daunting or uninteresting?
5. Allow your work surroundings to become disorganised and messy?
6. Complete work yourself which should be delegated to subordinates?
7. Accept work requests, which are really someone else¶s responsibility?
8. Rarely take proper breaks at work?
9. Deal with the same material several times, when it should have been
dealt with in one sitting?
10. Regularly take work home with you on evenings/weekends?
11. Give subordinates very little feedback on their performance (positive
as well as negative)?
12. Not trust your subordinates with various tasks, in case they make
mistakes?
13. Maintain an inadequate filing system (can never find things)?
14. Waste considerable time on unimportant phone calls/literature?
15. Often assign work to ³Pending´ category when it should be dealt with
on the spot?

SCORE COMMENT0 ± 2 Congratulations! Others can learn from your positive timemanagement
techniques.
3 ± 8 Reasonable, but no cause for smugness! Start working on thoseYES
responses.7 ± 11 Don¶t feel sorry for yourself having such a heavy workload until you
have brought this score down to the first category. (0 ± 2).12 ± 15 It really is time you managed your time more effectively! Gothrough
this manual at regular intervals and make those necessary changes.
Over 15 Really! You urgently need to make changes. A Time Management
Workshop would be most appropriate.
. Conclusion :To sum up , getting to know how important time is and how it
can be managed helps students make the best use of their time . In
addition , recognizing the causes and distractors of time , evidently ,
leads to getting rid of this problem at all . So , any student can
manage his or her time easily
