HOW TO START

12

Your doctor should start you on a diet and exercise program when you start taking Qsymia. Stay on this program while you are taking Qsymia.2

Your doctor will tell you how much Qsymia to take and when to take it.2

• Do not change your dose without talking to your doctor

• Take Qsymia 1 time a day in the morning

• Qsymia can be taken with or without food

• If you miss a dose of Qsymia, wait until the next morning to take your usual dose of Qsymia. Do not double your dose

If you and your doctor decide that Qsymia® (phentermine and topiramate extended-release) capsules CIV is right for you, you should take it exactly as your doctor tells you to take it.2

Qsymia is a unique combination of two medications in a once-a-day extended-release formulation. If you receive anything other than Qsymia, it is not the same and may not be approved by the FDA for chronic weight management. There is no generic equivalent.2,3

Important Safety Information

Qsymia can cause serious side eects, including:

Your doctor will tell you how much Qsymia to take and when to take it.2

• Do not change your dose without talking to your doctor

• Take Qsymia 1 time a day in the morning

• Qsymia can be taken with or without food

If you and your doctor decide that Qsymia® (phentermine and topiramate extended-release) capsules CIV is right for you, you should take it exactly as your doctor tells you to take it.2

Qsymia is a unique combination of two medications in a once-a-day extended-release formulation. If you receive anything other than Qsymia, it is not the same and may not be approved by the FDA for chronic weight management. There is no generic equivalent.2,3
