Polish president killed on a plane crash

The Polish president and his wife were killed in a plane crash this morning according to the Russian officials.

President LESH KASINZKY and his wife, MARIE, were on board a flight which crashed at 10:56 Moscow time (06:56 GMT)., near the Smolenk airport. Russian Media is reporting that all the 97 passengers were killed.

According to the recently reports the plane got caught up in the tops of trees, fell down to the ground and broke into pieces. There are no survivors.

The Polish Foreign Ministery has confirmed that LESH KASINZKY and his wife, were on board the Tu 154 plane flying from Moscow to Smolensk

They were with several senior government figures on a trip to mark the seventieth anniversary of the Katyng forest massacre , in which thousands of poles were executed by the Soviet Secret Police.

Lesh Kasinzky became president in December 2005 after defeating Tusk in that presidential vote.

He was the twin brother of Poland’s opposition Leader, former prime minister JAROSLAW KASINZKY.

Kasinzky’s wife, Marie was an economist. They had a daughter and two granddaughters.
