University of Pune has taken path breaking initiative by sanctioning about two thousand research
projects to the University and College teachers since year 2006.
The purpose of such an endeavor is to inculcate research environment at college level and help
teachers at University level to meet their specific needs. BCUD has decided to organize faculty-wiseregional research conference entitle INNOVATION at various places in order to facilitate the
interaction among these teachers and evaluate the research work done by teachers and provide
guidance in respective disciplines. All the teachers working on BCUD research proposals and other
interested teachers will necessarily participate in these conferences.
The Principal Investigator is requested to send the abstract along with BCUD sanction letter to therespective place and confirm their participation. Teachers are expected to present their work in the
form of PowerPoint Presentation for the projects sanctioned in year 2011-2012 and Posters
Presentation for the projects sanctioned in Year 2012-2013. Principal Investigators are requested to
communicate with the respective coordinators of the Innovation Conference Centers. The
registration Fees & T.A. / D.A for attending the INNOVATION-2013 is allowed to claim in the
BCUD Research Project Budget as per the rules. The Participation in INNOVATION-2013 is
necessary for submitting financial statement of the research project in the central audit scheduled in
fourth week of April-2013.
