The Chamber honored community leaders at its annual awards show earlier this month. Winter athletiC teams exCel in Classroom Congratulations to our winter sports teams for excelling not only in athletics, but also in the classroom. Tractor & Machinery Safety Certification Course

April 19 – 20, 2019 June 7 – 8, 2019 Both sessions will follow the following schedule:

Friday 3:30 – 8; Saturday 8:30 – 5:30

The Youth Tractor Certification Course is a program designed to teach safety as it relates to driving and managing tractors, machinery, and farm equipment. It offers both classroom and hands-on tractor driving experiences for youth who are 14 years old and who are interested in summer employment opportunities in the upcoming agricultural season. Students will receive their certifications at the completion of this course.

Cost $100/participant (non-refundable), which includes Safe Operation of Agricultural Equipment Manual, proof of participation/completion certificates, and a laminated ID Card.

Pre-Registration is required 1-week prior to the session start date.

Students must be at least 14-years old at the time of the course.

Students must bring their own sack lunches both days.

Classes held at Santiam Christian School, 7220 NE Arnold Ave., Adair Village, OR.

Participants must attend all sessions to receive certification. 4-H/FFA membership is not required.
