The National Curriculum for England (UK) id delivered through the International Primary Curriculum (IPC.) The focus is to build on the students’ content knowledge, social skills and to equip young adolescents in their preparation for Secondary School.

These years can be a challenging period for the students’ emotional, intellectual and social development. The National Curriculum for England (UK) guides and engages students through innovative learning programmes. Key Stage 4 students work towards IGCSE qualifications.

  • It is a pleasure to introduce you to Tenby Schools Setia Eco Park. Built in 2009, our campus seamlessly integrates International and Malaysian National schools, and has a reputation of excellence in education, high quality teaching and providing a wider student experience.

Our International School follows the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), National Curriculum for England (UK), IGCSE and A Level programmes, while our Malaysian National School follows the Malaysian National Curriculum. Drawing on our 60-year heritage of educational experience, as well as contemporary evidence-based research, we take every opportunity to give our students an outstanding learning experience, and our academic results are excellent because of this.

We realise that providing students with the opportunities and facilities to broaden their horizons is vital to determining their success. Our modern, state-of-the-art campus is home to a rich range of academic resources – from well-equipped classrooms and spaces for the sciences and arts, to recreational facilities where students can comfortably enjoy over 100 co-curricular activities.

Our holistic approach not only facilitates academic excellence, but character development as well. We strive to create a learning environment that will provide students with the knowledge, confidence and varied life skills necessary to open the doors to many possibilities in our rapidly changing society. We are not a one-dimensional exam factory but a school that offers wider experiences across our core values. Students are encouraged to be actively involved in their own learning, and to discover new things about themselves and the world around them.

And with our community bringing together students from different cultures and nationalities, they learn to cultivate respect for one another and confidence in themselves, becoming amazing global citizens of the future.

At the centre of our approach to education is what we call Amazing Learning. Moments of Amazing Learning are those where students realise that they are doing something they couldn’t before. When they amaze themselves enough times, they learn to understand that they have the ability and character to be successful in anything they put their mind to.

To deliver Amazing Learning, we take great pride in the way our lessons are taught. Course material alone is not enough. Continuous support to update teachers with the latest ideas and methodologies allows them to facilitate academic, social and emotional growth in new and exciting ways. They go above and beyond to ensure that course material is having a real impact on students, while our students in turn are encouraged to be critical learners and to be actively involved in their own development.

I warmly encourage students and their families to visit our campus to see how we do things differently. Prospective students nearly always choose Tenby Schools Setia Eco Park after they have spent some time with us, so come see our ambitious, busy, happy and unique community in action yourself.
