Leaf, plant and tuber of coloured common callalily (Z antedeschi a antedschina Spreng) as explants were cultured on MSmedium supplemented with different combinations of pl ant regu lators . The addition of BA1--3mg/L and NAA 0.2--0.5mg/Lto MS medium was favroable to the indu ction of sho ots an d calli. Enrichment of the bas ic medium with NAA 0.2--0.5mg/L

and BA0.5--1.0mg/L promoted the induction of adventitious shoots and their growth. BA concen trations for 0.2mg/L werefavourable for the growth of adventitious sh oots but un favorabla for the induction of calli and adventitious shoots, resulting in low proliferation coefficients. High er concentrations of BA were favorable for the differentiation of calli andshoots were as lower concentrations favorable for the growth of shoo ts . For explant of leaf and s mall plant, there is nosignificant d ifferent among each treatment of different concentrations of NAA and BA, especially among those in later

period o f growth. Most of the leaves was died in growth and only a few sh oots add ition was produced. Plant s were weakenas t ime prolonged .
