What is “Title I Stimulus Money?”This is the money you have been hearing about!

A shortened name for Title I Part A ARRA – American Recovery & Reinvestment Act funds

Must follow same guidelines as regular Title I Part A funds the district receives

Intended to save and create jobs; to improve school improvement and reform; to ensure transparency, reporting and accountability.

BISD will receive a total of approximately 2.3 million dollars for 2009-10 and 2010-11. Unless reauthorized, funding will be for two years only.
