• Vallecitos and San Pasqual: By June 2012, the percentage of English learners attaining proficiency in Mathematics will increase from 39.5% to 50 %, as measured by the CST, CMA, or CAPA, in order to move toward state defined expectations for proficiency in Mathematics.

• Vallecitos: By June 2012, the percentage of English learners attaining proficiency in reading/language arts will increase from 40.7% to 68%, as measured by the CST, CMA or CAPA, in order to move toward state-defined expectations for proficiency in Reading/Language Arts.

The consortium will improve the identification and intervention methods to increase student achievement and performance by identifying students who score BB or FBB in Language Arts and Mathematics based upon the 2012 STAR testing results.

A weekly newsletter sent in dual languages will be sent electronically to each family with the latest opportunities for students and parents. It will include tutoring opportunities, after school clubs, sports activities, Student Government, and other related school sponsored events for the week/month. It will also include the lunch menu from the Food Services Dept. For families that do not have access to email, a hard copy will be sent home with their child.
