T E R M S & C O N D I T I O N S

PRICE LIST TERMS

PRICES

Items and prices are subject to change.

Prices are inclusive of full set up and pack

down, insurance and GST.

MINIMUM SPEND

There is a $700 minimum spend

requirement with I Do Events Whitsundays.

OTHER FEES AND CHARGES

A transport fee of 15%* of your total order

(with a minimum cost of $210) is applicable

to island and distant functions and has

been included in your applicable Wedding

Booking Form.

Public holidays will incur a surcharge of

minimum 20%.

In the case of chair covers, some venues

may need to source appropriate chairs to

be fitted with a cover and a fee may be

incurred. Please check this with your venue

or wedding consultant.

*For wedding on Dent Island, a 20%

transport fee will be charged, due to the

extra transport required.

AVAILABILITY OF PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

Not all stock is kept on hand and may not

be available without sufficient notice. We

recommend confirming all requirements as

early as possible to avoid disappointment.

BOOKING TERMS

5% DISCOUNT

I Do Events Whitsundays are happy to

extend a 5% discount for booking your

wedding décor from the package options

contained in this document. This discount

will apply if the following is adhered to:

- Your requirements are booked

directly from the options listed in this

document, without modification

- Your non-refundable deposit of 30%

or $280 (whichever is greater), is

submitted along with your Wedding

Booking Form

- You confirm final required quantities at

least one month prior to your wedding

date

- You make no changes to your booking

aside from the finalising of numbers as

stated above

- You make final payment at least one

month prior to your wedding date

In the first instance of not adhering to the

above, the 5% discount will be removed

from your order. All subsequent failings to

adhere to the above will be charged at

$98 per instance.

CHANGES TO YOUR CONFIRMED BOOKING

I Do Events Whitsundays’ receipt of your

completed booking forms is taken as

confirmation of your final requirements.

Please ensure you have considered

all décor options prior to placing your

booking.

Any requested changes or reductions

to your confirmed booking will result in

a loss of your discount or a fee being

charged (aside from changes to quantities

required).

Any requested changes or reductions to

your confirmed booking within one month

of your wedding date will not attract a

refund (including changes to quantities

required).

Please note: You may add extra décor

items to you order at any time, without

penalty.

UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES

If your decoration is unable to be utilised

due to unforeseen circumstances out

of the control and not by fault of I do

events whitsundays, a refund will only be

applicable to a value deemed suitable by

I Do Events Whitsundays or a refund may

not be applicable at all.

In the unlikely case that extremely limited

restrictions are placed on us by the venue

regarding set up times, further charges

may apply. Eg a large lunch function at

the same venue on the same day may

restrict us from commencing set up until

4pm. This may result in extra staff than

originally allocated for, therefore extra

travel fees. This is usually something that will

become known to us within the month prior

to your wedding and you will be advised

as soon as we are made aware.

CANCELLATIONS

In the event of canceling requirements with

I Do Events Whitsundays with more than

one month notice, your required deposit

will be retained and any other paid money

will be reimbursed.

In the event of canceling requirements with

I Do Events Whitsundays with less than one

month notice, the total amount of your

booking will be retained.

INCLEMENT WEATHER/CHANGE OF VENUE

In the event of inclement weather

preventing you from having your requested

venue, I Do Events will endeavor to

relocate your requested décor to your

alternate venue and/or provide other

suitable décor to equal value of your order.

Each case will be assessed on an individual

basis by reference to the preparation

involved and time-frame given for

relocation. If not all booked décor is able

to be used, unfortunately a refund will not

be applicable.

I Do Events Whitsundays retain the right

to cancel decoration on the day, should

conditions deem the decoration unsuitable

for use. Again, I Do Events will endeavor

to provide other suitable décor to equal

value of your order. Example: Should you

choose to remain at an outdoor venue

where the conditions will affect and/or

cause damage to our products.

LOSS/DAMAGES

All items remain the property of I Do Events

Whitsundays and clients will be charged

for loss or damage of any items (with

the exception of those listed as items for

purchase – candles, flower scatters and

bonbonniere)

The payment for loss or damage of any

items must be finalised within one month of

the event date.

Some choices on your part that may play

a part in irreparable or excessive damage

to I Do Events property may include and

are not limited to: Choosing an outdoor

function in the influence of wind, rain and

natural elements. The use of sparklers,

matches and cigarettes in the vicinity of

decoration

If any portion of these fore-written booking

terms are not met, I Do Events retain the

right to refuse service
