High School Musical• Camera: Long shot to establish location, which is a hotel/

student accommodation. The title of the movie is in CAPs in white and red.

• Media shot to show facial expression of the characters.• Tilt – Showing what's inside the room, top to bottom.

• Mise-en-scene: A party scene, with food, drinks and decoration.

• Everyone is dressed up. Dresses and suits and ties.

• Sound: For the introduction there is a soft string music in the background, it sets the mood.

• When Troy and his father are playing there is diegetic sound of the basketball bouncing and also of people talking.

• Editing: There are jump cuts from different scenes. For example: the party to gym.

• Match cuts between Troy and Gabriella the screen showing the lyrics.

• The title sequences appear whilst the movie is going on, however the title sequences appear now and then. Not continuously.

Juno• Camerawork: Long shot of her walking down the road. As well as a pan

going from right to left and following her as she walks the road. • Bird view of her walking the road looking towards the sky. • Tilt from her feet upwards to the top of a house.

• Mise-en-scene: Walking down a road with houses on both sides – a neighborhood.

• Juno is wearing a red jumper, black t-shirt, blue jeans and black and white trainers, holding a cartoon/bottle of juice in her left hand.

• Editing: It goes from real life into animatic cartoon in the beginning and end of the sequence.

• Titles appears in various colours in a bold font and capital letters. • Match cut of Juno walking and holding the carton of juice and then

drinking it.

• Sound: A south-western song is played in the background throughout the whole opening scene.

• There is no diegetic music from the character or the surroundings.
