Trailer Text
When looking for a title font my partner searched on Dafont for a font that would fit our title perfectly
We wanted something that represented breaking, illusions, and reflection.
The next slid show some of the fonts we looked at:
Title
This is one of the fonts we liked but we decided not to use it because it was hard to see and therefore would not work well on the movie poster as people would not be able to see the title.
Horror Sketch
This is the font that we went for, it showed how things are faded and not always what they seem. Although we liked this text my partner went on to further edit the text by making it red and using the blur tool to distort it more.
Cracked Dendrit
This is the final font. upon receiving feedback about the
readability of the words, I added some more lines to the N’s and U’s so that they were easer to see
Overall I am happy with the outcome and I think it suites the movie plot very well.
Final
For the other fonts my partner used the colours of red and white to connect the title and to make the font readable.
She also reflected some of the words to play on our title name, ‘Fractured Illusions’.
These are the other titles my partner created for the trailer, when in motion they flicker and move to create more dimension and interest to the titles:
