GROOVE CLEANER KIT Groove Cleaner Kits are provided in three configurations: Right Lay, Left Lay and Smooth Bore. Groove Cleaners act to clean the outer circumference as well as the wire rope groove pattern of contaminants that hinder the penetration of new coatings being applied inside the Seal Lubrication Chamber. Non-Spin and/or Double Armor wire ropes do not have or have little groove pattern to clean. Therefore, the Smooth Bore Groove Cleaners are offered to clean the outer circumference of these types of wire rope configurations. Right and Left Lay groove Cleaners available.
NOTE: All groove cleaners are 6-strand unless otherwise noted.

OPTIONAL COMPONENTS AVAILABLE
MANUAL STRIPPER The Manual Stripper provides a rotational base for the Groove Cleaners apart from the lubrication process. This item allows the user the ability to surface strip a majority of their wire rope for inspection purposes. It can either be tied off to allow the wire rope to pass through it or it can be pulled along the wire rope. A Centering (Alignment) Bushing with a center hole cut to the diameter of the wire rope is required to be inserted in the Manual Stripper to keep it centered. Each manual Stripper is provided with one diameter Centering Bushing. Additional diameters are priced separately.

DIGITAL FLOW METER Provides a digital reading of the lubricant flow rate in ounces and pounds during the lubrication process. A final total is also provided after the maintenance project is complete. This allows the user an excellent method to assist them in accurately evaluating the amount of coating product required for a broad range of projects incorporating different viscosity coatings and wire rope diameters.
