tkIS India’s donates Digital Printer to Government Institute of Printing Technology… In continuation to our donations of 15 computers, Adobe Creative Cloud Software Suite and Cadlink RIP Software in the year 2016-2017, tkIS India donated a Digital Printer under its CSR initiatives to Government Institute of Printing Technology (GIPT), Mumbai thus completing their requirement of an upgraded Computer Lab. Though the government pays the fees for the students from the economically- weaker section, the Institute cannot afford the high end equipment required for their curriculum. With the new digital printer, specialized printing can be done in-house. Mr. P. D. Our CEO & MD Mr PD Samudra in his speech expressed his great pleasure and honor for donating a Digital Printer this year. While wishing the students best for their future endeavors, Mr. Samudra appealed them to put the equipment to best use, in the tradition that the institute was renowned for.

Mr. Harjeet Singh Talwar, District Governor, Rotary International who has considerably knowledge on the Printing Industry, thanked tkIS India for its continuing initiatives, and appreciated the Institute’s efforts directed at preparing youth to face the future.

Mr. Suryakumar, CSR Consultant, tkIS India displaying one of the high-quality prints taken from the Digital Printer, expressed his joy at being associated with the donation, in particular. Extolling the merits of this cause, said “Good intentions have always good results”.

“This CSR project of tkIS India stands out from our other projects as it is much more than just an education, but a vocational training, which ultimately transforms into job opportunities,” said Mr N R Chitre, CFO & ED, tkIS India. He further appreciated the devotion and passion of the Management, Staff and Students and wished them best for their future endeavors.

Mr. Sameer Deshpande, Lecturer, GIPT, initiated the handover ceremony by welcoming the guests, and briefing the gathering about the Institute functioning and the benefits of donations, they had received from tkIS India.

Mr. Anand Limaye, Member of Governing Council , GIPT while acknowledging the donation received, explained how the students are benefitted with such donations. He said that the institute imparts very effective training that includes theory and practice and also apprenticeship in the Printing Industry with an assurance that no student sits idle after completion of the Diploma Course, thus making them ready to serve the industry.

Mrs. Manisha Deshpande, Principal, GIPTconcluded the ceremony by thanking tkIS India for the donation, which will benefit their students in achieving success in their curriculum. “We owe are success to you,” she said, going on to express how proud she felt to state that some of their students are competing at National Level competitions for Notional Skill Development and Innovative Package Designing, thanks to the access they have to these high-end equipment. “We do this inhousenow, and don’t have to resort to external means.”
