TLA -101 is a line array loudspeaker for medium

scale sound reinforcement.

Using the TLF-101 Flying Frame it can be flown

in vertical columns with up to 12 cabinets giving

a 90 constant dispersion pattern in the

horizontal plane.

TLA-101 is a 2-way design housing 2 10"

neodymium kapton LF drivers and 2 4" 1"

(101.6 25.4 mm) neodymium kapton wave planar

compression drivers.

The cylindrical wave segments of each cabinet

will couple without gabs and sum up coherently.

Splay angles between adjacent cabinets can be

set in the range from 0 to 5 .

LINE ARRAY SYSTEM

TLA-101 System is driven by modular power amplifier AP-4U or AM-4U with analog or digital control cards.

All components are arranged symmetrically around

the centre axis of the cabinet to produce a perfect

symmetric dispersion pattern. This set up allows a

very smooth crossover design with well defined

overlap of adjacent frequency bands resulting in a

very consistent and accurate horizontal dispersion.

Due to dipolar arrangement of the LF drivers the

nominal dispersion of 90 is maintained down to

200Hz.

TLA-101 frequency response extends from

90 Hz to above 18KHz.

TLA-101 cabinet is constructed of plywood and

has impact and weather resistant polyurethane

finish. The front of the loudspeaker cabinet is

protected by a rigid metal grill.There are two

handles in the side panels.All necessary rigging

components are mounted to the cabinet.

Up to 6 pieces of TLA-101 cabinets can be

stacked and interlinked by using the standard

TLA rigging components and the TLF-101 flying

frame for ground support.

COMPONENTS

TLA-101 loudspeakers are mechanically connected

using a three-point suspension system.

This consists of the TLF-101 flying frame from

which the cabinets are suspended using rigging

links and pins located on both front sides of the

cabinet and a central rear splay link.

The rear splay link allows quick and easy selection

of vertical angles between cabinets.

These are all permanently attached to the cabinets.

TLF-101 flying frame is a welded steel frame

designed to suspend a maximum of 12 pieces of

TLA-101cabinet.

THREE POINT SUSPENSION SYSTEM

The advantage of handling things in this way is

quite obvious. Using the control modules provides

the opportunity to set up a very compact sound

reinforcement system, individually matching a

particular application .Cable length and connecting

labour can be reduced to the minimum.

There are two AC circuit breakers on the rear panel

of AP-4U or AM-4U. If the switch shuts off automatically

on normal using condition, push it back to the ON

position. No fuses are used.

AP-4U and AM-4U are remote-controllable with the digital

control card and therefore construct the platform for 3

PA systems.

A wide range of analog modules with individual

functions are available. With these modules

signal processing which is normally realized by

external equipment can be integrated into the

power amplifier.

The module slots inside the front panel of the

AP-4U or AM-4U power amplifier make it easy

and convenient to insert or take out analog or

digital control card.

AP-4U and AM-4U are 4 channel modular power

amplifiers and the most flexible solution for any

mobile and permanent installation application.

The RMS power output of AP-4U is 1200W/8

per channel.

There is one mute switch with indicator for each

channel on the front panel of AP-4U or AM-4U.

The connection cable for AP-4U or AM-4U

is alternative with one open end or with a

32 A 3-pole CEE standard plug available.

Cleaning the filters system is simple

without demounting the amplifier from

the rack. AP-4U is equipped with two

independent brushless and stepless

fans working with automatic speed-control

function. The air circulation is front-to-rear,

allowing trouble-free operation even in

smaller power amplifier rack systems.

Also the mechanic construction and

manufacturing guarantee is the highest precision.

The robust and highly rigid steel chassis

is meant to survive the extensive wear

of touring applications.

With a peak output of 12 KW AP-4U can be equipped

for driving woofers .Fo r example AP-4U can be

attached to up to eight pieces of T18W and form the

bass foundation for Line Array TLA-101 or ONAX PA

System.

AP-4U or AM-4U has various application possibilities

by mixing different control cards. For example, AP-4U

or AM-4U with properly chosen mixed modes of control

cards can be used to drive TLA-101 Array System or

T12L and T18W clusters.

AM-4U works with the same control modules as the

AP-4U. When power rating is under 200W this

amplifier works in class A/B mode.

AM-4U is an ideal amplifier for tops of TLA-101or

ONAX tops . Also various bi-amp mode applications

or monitoring system on the stage is not a problem

for the amplifier. Like AP-4U AM-4U is also a

4-channel amplifier and equipped with two power

supplies.

ANALOG CONTROL CARDC-4800 FOR AP-4U AND AM-4U

Control modules can also be exchanged

conveniently: Switch off the power, take out the

control card, demount the knurled screw from the

control card, take unwanted module out of the

socket in the control card and insert wanted one.

The heart of every modern PA system is the

sophisticated controlling of the loudspeakers.

The analogue control cards are configured for

Amplifier AP-4U or AM-4U.The specified modules

that are configured for a certain system are used

to drive individualized PA systems such as

TLA-101 Line Array system, ONAX PA system

or on-stage monitoring system.

The operation of taking out the control card from

the rack is very simple without disassembling the

amplifier from the rack: Switch off the power,

demount the two knurled screws from the front

panel,disconnect the contact strip out of the input

port in the amplifier and take out the control card.

By properly combining control modules, we can

drive tops (two way active) and woofers together

with one 4-channel amplifier. The various poss-

ibilities of combining control modules according to

real application requirement make configuration

and application of PA systems obviously economic

and efficient.

A wide range of panel modules for different applications

are available. Here we cannot provide a closed listing

of all modules, since the amplifier system, with its open

architecture feature, is still being continuously optimized

and expanded by our talented and innovative R&D

engineers to meet the changing and developing application
