AgendaOverviewantiretroviral therapy has improved dramatically over the past decade. this progress has yielded more treatment choices for clinicians and patients but also adds greater complexity to the already diverse field of HiV. clinicians must keep up with new data on treatment strategies, selection of appropriate individualized therapy, and effective management of patient side effects. in this interactive, case-based program, expert faculty will convey how to incorporate new treatment strategies into clinical practice and discuss various aspects of HiV management, including selecting an initial antiretroviral regimen, modifying therapy in virologically suppressed patients, and selecting the optimal approach for those with treatment failure.

Learning ObjectivesUpon successful completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:

• Applyupdatedevidence-basedguidelinesandrecommendations when selecting initial treatment for patients with HiV.
