AUDIENCE
Intended audience includes owners, operators, engineers, technicians or maintenance personnelconcerned with the day-to-day operation and maintenance of TM2500 turbines. The course isintended for personnel who are familiar with gas turbines and must have prior general knowledgeof power plant systems and operation.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
This Site-Specific course is designed to introduce operations and maintenance personnel to the TM2500Package and to the minor mechanical maintenance required to attain high levels of availability, andreliability from the Aeroderivative gas turbine package. This course will cover basic troubleshooting, and asummary of the inspections required for minor gas turbine generator mechanical maintenance. Operatingand maintenance personnel should attend this course together to develop a working relationshipregarding the maintenance requirements of the unit, and how unit operation may affect theserequirements.
Included in this training are the routine preventative maintenance requirements of the Aeroderivative gasturbine generator package and support systems. The training will also detail the Level 1 maintenancework packages and familiarization of the O&M Manual. The course does not include repair procedures for
gas turbine components. If the course is held at the customer’s location it may include site visits tofamiliarize personnel with the physical layout of the gas turbine generator, and the location of the varioussystem components.
