    Alternating Current: A terminal to which or from which an alternating (sinewave) current or voltage may be applied or supplied.

    Direct Current: A terminal to which or from which a direct current or voltage may be applied or supplied.

    Safety requirementsARRIS Telephony Modems comply with the applicable requirements for performance, construction, labeling, and information when used as outlined below:

    Do not use product near water (i.e. wet basement, bathtub, sink or near a swimming pool, etc.), to avoid risk of electrocution.
