Whereas by deed of Trust No.553 attested by Nilanhie Asanka Abeysekara, Notary Public of Colombo on October 29, 1991, I established a Charitable Trust called and known as Home for Human Rights, Sri Lanka.

Whereas in terms of the said Deed, the number of Trustees of the Home for Human Rights, Sri Lanka at any given time should not be more than three.

Whereas there is a provision in the said deed for me to amend the said instrument.

And whereas for the last few years there have been Five or Six Trustees (including me) of the said Trust.

Whereas I am now desirous of having the number of Trustees of the said Trust to FIVE (5) including me. .

AND WHEREAS Dr. Darini Rajasingham, Mrs. Saroginithevy Ilangovan, K.A. George and Rev. Fr. C. G. Jeyakumar have agreed and consented to be Trustees.

NOW KNOW YE AND THESE PRESENTS WITNESS.

WHEREAS I , INNASIMUTHU FRANCIS XAVIER, the SETTLER of the said Charitable Trust called and known as Home for Human Rights, Sri Lanka do hereby amend the said Charitable Trust and make provision for the appointment of FIVE Trustees.

Mrs. Saroginithevy Ilangovan, Retired District Judge, No. 131/5, Rasavinthoddam Road, Jaffna.

Karathara Anthony George, Attorney at law, No.81, Wellington Park, Magupokula, Ragama.

Rev. Fr. C. G. Jeyakumar, Bishop's House, Jaffna presently, Parish Priest, Navanthurai, Jaffna.

As Trustees of the said Trust fot a period of THREE (3) years from the date of execution of these presents.

We the said Dr. Darini Rajasingham, Mrs. Saroginithevy Ilangovan, K.A.George and Rev. Fr. C. G. Jeyakumar consent to be Trustees of the said Trust. Copies of Our letters of consent are annexed to these presents
