MERCADO DE PAZPEACE MARKET2016 2016
Since 1989, the Esperanza has offered a unique alternative to holiday retail shopping by giving community direct access to artisans selling one-of-a-kind handmade goods in the tradition of open-air markets in indigenous communities around the world. This year, due to popular demand, the Mercado will be three days! We will also have new international artisans
specializing in Tinavet bordados, portable sacred art paintings, and Tzintzuntzan pottery. We will also have live music performances by Santiago Jimenez Jr., Tallercito de Son, Azul, and many more artists! Poets such as Victoria Zapata-Garcia
Klein, Natasha Hernandez from St. Sucia, San Juana Guillermo, J. Alejandro, Rooster, and many more, will also be performing.
