For an author

search, type:author’s last name, first

In Power search, you can narrow your search with AND, OR, NOT.

Try It: Find a book about European art during the Renaissance. If you type art in the basic search box, your results are:

Now use the Power Search. Type art in the 1st search box & renaissance in the 2nd.

1. Find the call numberof the book using Destiny.

2. These prefixes tell you the library section in which the book is located:

FIC (Fiction)SC (Story Collection)Graphic (Graphic novels)

alphabetically by author. A call number of FIC PIC = this book is in the fiction section in the Ps.
