Graphic design, also known as communication design is the process of visual
communication and problem-solving through the use of images, words,
photography and illustration. Some examples of Graphics design products are:
•Postcards and flyers
•Magazine and newspaper advertisements
•Posters and banners
•Brochures
•Vehicle wraps.
•Signs and displays
•Menus
•Business cards
•Packaging
For your Information
Your Task:
• You are going to design a gadget of your choice, which should be no bigger than 12cm in length and 7cm in width .
• The gadget should fit into a card net which must fit onto an A4 piece of squared paper and white card.
• You will also develop a logo which should be a redesign of the school logo. The graphics should be clearly displayed on your packaging, including the logo, a description of the gadget and where it can be bought, recycling symbol, bar code etc.
