Career  Played for Millwall 11 Years aged 7 - 19 Moved to play in Sweden for 7 months Returned to England, playing friendly Met Police FC – Tobi’s last club.

Tobi’s Collapse

On 15th October 2013, Tobi suffered a near-fatal collapse during a football match aged 19

Further collapse on treadmill during stress test revealed heart had stopped beating for a period of 10 seconds

Another collapse in April 2014 saw Tobi found lying lifeless on his bathroom floor by his elder brother

The heart monitor recorded that Tobi’s heart stopped three times for a period of one minute

Doctors identified Alabi had Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM)

Tobi underwent his second operation to implant a pacemaker and remove the heart monitor.

The Foundation is the first of its kind. A social enterprise thatApplies commercial strategies to maximize improvements inhuman and environmental well-being, through its three main Aims. Mission Statement The Heart4More Foundation, founded in February 2014, is primarily an organisation, which works with football’s governing bodies, professional clubs, players, fans and communities to raise awareness of cardiac related issues within sport. The Heart4More Foundation believes sport should be where individuals can enjoy themselves without the worry of their health being compromised. Our slogan, “One Family, Many Hearts” reiterates our stance of using the power of sport to reach the general community. We also believe in empowering and inspiring young people in society, increasing educational attainment and employability being key factors of the foundation also.

Aims To Screen

To push for football’s governing bodies to bring the necessary changes to the game in the form of regular and in-depth screenings and education relating to cardiac health. To provide screening opportunities to the general public. To Raise Awareness

To significantly raise awareness of cardiac related issues in football, sport generally and the community. Use sport as the main driving force for change within local communities, through various community schemes and events. To Educate & Inspire

To educate players and individuals within sport and the community on cardiac related issues and how to react to them in the form of CPR or using an AED.To improve educational attainment, increase employability, develop life skills and promote healthy and active lifestyles to all ages. All while diminishing limiting beliefs the individual’s may have.
