Introduction Message to Pastors, Parish Life Coordinators, Parish Staff & Representatives - New for 2015

A variety of new features have been added to the 2015 Campaign in an on-going effort to improve the Diocesan Annual Appeal experience. We hope you’ll find these additions helpful in conducting your parish campaign and in progressing toward your parish goal. New features include additional “Action Events” at the Parish level, and even new ways to donate.

You’ll note a new emphasis on Pre-Campaign Activities to orient our Regional Chairs and Parish Representatives, as well as requests that you engage your Parish Leadership (Finance and Pastoral Council members, Eucharistic Ministers, Lectors, etc.) early in the campaign. Some of these parishioners may not be previous Appeal donors.

The In-Pew Commitment Weekend has been scheduled to follow more closely after the Kick-off than in past years. In addition to making an Appeal pledge, at this time parishioners will also have the opportunity to submit a prayer intention, whether or not they make a pledge. To help encourage first-time donors to the Appeal, we’re also planning to add a Text to Give Weekend where parishioners will be asked to take out their smart phones and text a pledge or gift.

A Mass of Thanksgiving will be offered by Most Reverend Joseph C. Bambera on Sunday, November 22, at 10 a.m. at St. Peter’s Cathedral, at which time Bishop Bambera will pray for all intentions received during In-Pew Weekend. The Mass of Thanksgiving will be followed by a Reception in the Diocesan Pastoral Center. Advance promotion of this Mass may be yet another encouragement for parishioners to consider a pledge.

These changes are listed on the Parish Appeal Timeline in this Parish Manual. Detailed explanations can be found in the Parish Manual and on the Diocesan website.

Parish Campaign Structure

PARISH LEADERSHIP Pastors play a significant role in promoting the Diocesan Annual Appeal. You

set the tone for the effort in your parish with your endorsement and public support. Four years ago, to assist with the Annual Appeal, the Diocese invited parishioners and clergy to serve as Regional Chairs, representing the six regions of the Diocese: 1) Bradford, Sullivan and Susquehanna Counties, 2) Wayne & Pike Counties, 3) Monroe County, 4) Luzerne County, 5) Lackawanna and Wyoming Counties, and 5) Lycoming and Tioga Counties.

Last year, the campaign structure was expanded and pastors were invited to designate Parish Representatives to work with the Development Office and the Regional Chairs, and to ultimately assist their pastors in conducting the Annual Appeal at the parish level. These Parish Representatives also serve as delegates to a Regional Annual Appeal Committee which meets two or three times during the length of the campaign. During Regional Meetings, Parish Representatives share experiences with others to arrive at best practices for conducting successful parish campaigns..

Parish Representative Responsibilities8

Page 9: “Today is ‘Diocesan Annual Appeal Commitment Weekend.’ …dioceseofscrantonarchive.org/clight/WORD 2015 Parish A…  · Web viewAtty. Frank and Sharon O’Connor, St. Lawrence

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Attend two to three Regional Committee meetings between September and January. Make an Annual Appeal gift. Work with pastor and parish staff to coordinate Diocesan Annual Appeal efforts in your

parish to include showing the video on weekend of Sept. 12 and 13, overseeing In-Pew Commitment Weekend on October 24-25, updating of the goal thermometer poster and publishing Appeal announcement in your parish bulletin.

Offer campaign suggestions at committee meetings and in your parish throughout Annual Appeal.

Serve as a primary contact in your parish to provide updates on Annual Appeal activities and progress toward goal and to answer any questions.

OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES

Personally contact a small number of friends or potential donors (perhaps six to 10 people – the number of contacts is determined by the committee member) from September to December to ask them to join you with a gift to the Diocesan Annual Appeal.

With assistance from the Diocesan Development Office, coordinate a parish Phonathon to call parishioners or a select group of parishioners (eg, parishioners who are involved in leadership positions – finance or pastoral council members, Eucharistic ministers, lectors, choir members) who have not yet given to the Appeal.

Speak at Masses (or recruit volunteers to speak) on one or two weekends during the Campaign, perhaps on In-Pew Weekend, to encourage parishioners to make a gift to the Appeal.

Help Diocesan Development Office communicate to their respective parishes progress toward the Annual Appeal Regional goal and Parish goal

In the words of Most Reverend Joseph C. Bambera, D.D., J.C.L, Bishop of Scranton

Not too long ago Pope Francis offered these thoughts: “Lord, make my heart open to goodness, make my heart open to the beauty of God every day.” In just a few weeks, Pope Francis will visit the United States. In his historic trip to these shores, what will he

9

Page 10: “Today is ‘Diocesan Annual Appeal Commitment Weekend.’ …dioceseofscrantonarchive.org/clight/WORD 2015 Parish A…  · Web viewAtty. Frank and Sharon O’Connor, St. Lawrence

see? What will his experience be? If he were to look at the Church of Scranton, he would see people whose lives are deeply committed to God. He’d see vibrant parishes like St. John the Evangelist, Parish, Pittston, that not too long ago took an empty school and turned it into a free health clinic for adults and children: doctors who care for individuals in physical ways, nursing opportunities, a clothes closet where those in need can find gentled used and new clothing for themselves and their children.

One of most significantly ways in which we offer service to our brothers and sister who are in need is through the incredibly good work of Catholic Social Services. We respond to individuals in many ways – we offer counseling services. We feed hundreds of individuals who are hungry. We provide shelter for those who find themselves without a place to stay. We offer immigrant services to those who are new to our area. Finally and perhaps most significantly, we provide housing opportunities for individuals in need.

Your “good hearts and generous spirits” also help us fund a wonderful religious education program foryoung people throughout our Diocese. We have 20 catholic schools that provide an outstanding educational experience to thousands of children. Additionally we have religious education programs in each of our 120 parishes.

The people of our parishes are more than willing to engage the gifts that God has given them for the building up of their parish communities and indeed, the entire Diocese of Scranton.

We are so blessed to have individuals who are open to ministry in the church. Your support of the Appeal allows them to experience and to grow in their understanding of what it means to be a priest, their knowledge of what is necessary to preach and proclaim and to receive the training that will ultimately sustain them as they move forward in ministry.

Your gift to the Appeal also supports our retired priests. I’m so privileged as Bishop in the Diocese of Scranton to be supported in my Episcopal ministry by my colleague, Bishop Timlin, who just this summer celebrated his 88th birthday, and by Bishop John Doherty, our retired auxiliary bishop. Both of them and countless numbers of retired priests don’t know the meaning of the word retirement.

Thank you for all of your support to the Diocesan Annual Appeal. With our good hearts and generous spirits, each one of us can work together to bring hope and encouragement to all those who are in need to the Diocese of Scranton and beyond.

Successful Appeal – Best Practices

Remember…

• People who feel inspired to give tend to give as much as they can.• People who feel obligated give the minimum expected.

Be sure to….

• Emphasize pledged gifts with payments over a period of months, rather than one-time donations.

• Whenever possible, personally invite parishioners to consider a gift to the Annual Appeal.

• Educate and communicate – parishioners who understand all of the vital programs made possible by the Annual Appeal can educate others, ensuring more success in the parish.

• Keep the Appeal in front of the parishioners throughout the campaign. Use bulletins, posters, pulpit announcements, reference the Appeal on your website.

• Report progress to goal: (the target, amount pledged, cash total, % of parishioners pledging).

• Display the Thermometer Posters with pledge envelopes and brochures prominently in the church for parishioners to pick up at any time. Color-in the Thermometers to show your progress as you advance toward goal.

• Always remember the prayerful aspects of the Appeal. Ask the parishioners to offer their prayers for the success of the Appeal and for all those who minister through the Appeal. Incorporate the prayers of the faithful into the liturgy.

• Ask parishioners to reflect on the blessings they have received when considering their donation.

There are significant times in the Annual Appeal when we ask the Pastor and Parish Representatives to take additional steps to strengthen the Appeal message. The Appeal progresses more quickly to a successful conclusion when parishioners are motivated to pledge early in the campaign.

KICK-OFF WEEKEND – APPEAL VIDEO IS SHOWN AT ALL MASSESSEPTEMBER 12 AND 13 The Pastor or Mass Celebrant informs parishioners that the Annual Appeal is commencing today in all parishes throughout the Diocese. He introduces the video himself or introduces the Parish Representatives who ask parishioners for their attention to the video message and explain that past donors will receive a letter from Bishop Bambera in the coming week. The Prayer of the Faithful includes the Appeal reference. The Bulletin should include a Message from the Pastor and either the weekly Appeal Graphic or Appeal Message.

PROMOTING THE UPCOMING IN-PEW WEEKENDOCTOBER 10-11The Pastor, Parish Representative or Catholic Social Services Volunteer Speak about the ministries and services supported by the Appeal. He or she reviews the process for the upcoming In-Pew Commitment Weekend, October 24-25 and asks parishioners to come to Mass prepared to make a pledge.

COMMITMENT WEEKEND – ENVELOPES DISTRIBUTED AT ALL MASSESOCTOBER 24-25The Pastor and Parish Representatives are asked to guide parishioners through the ‘in pew pledge’ process as outlined on page ___. The most effective parish campaigns focus on a personal ask and involve ushers or volunteers passing pledge envelopes to each parishioner and immediatelhy collecting the pledge envelopes after everyone has completed them.

“In-Pew Commitment Weekend” is one of the few times we have an opportunity to invite all parishioners to support the Diocesan Annual Appeal (that includes new parishioners, parish members who have not previously made an Appeal gift and folks who may attend Mass but are not registered parishioners). FYI, the Diocese sends mailings primarily to past donors.

That our parish community will come together in support of the Diocesan Annual Appeal, sharing the gifts our heavenly Father has given us, and truly living our Faith with “Good Hearts, Generous Spirits,” ……We pray to the Lord

IN-PEW PROMOTION WEEKENDBEFORE MASS:

Promote the ‘In-Pew Commitment” opportunity that will occur during the weekend of October 24 & 25.

Arrange a speaker to address parishioners. Call the Development Office to arrange a Catholic Social Services staff member/volunteer to speak at your parish or ask your Parish Rep to speak about the Appeal.

Have the appropriate ‘Prayer of the Faithful’ read.

PARISH REPRESENTATIVE AT MASS

An important part of inviting parishioners’ to support the Diocesan Annual Appeal is the personal witness and testimony that a lay witness may provide. Whether you use a representative from Catholic Social Services or a Parish Representative, please make reference to the upcoming In-Pew Weekend Oct. 24 – 25. The following is a SAMPLE SCRIPT to be edited and personalized.

Good morning. My name is ___ and I am a parishioner here at ___. Father (pastor) _____ has asked me to take a moment to speak today and I agreed --- because I believe in the work of the Diocesan Annual Appeal and I’m here to ask you to join me in my support….

I invite all of you to invest some of the gifts that God has given you—your energy, your prayers, and your money—in this work to which God has called us. I know that we all believe in God’s call to serve others.

Gifts to the Appeal support our Diocese ministries and services that feed the hungry, shelter the poor, counsel individuals and families and provide a place for a veterans to receive needed care and support.

We all want priests who have served us throughout their lives to have a welcoming place to live in their retirement, with their medical care provided. We want to be sure the seminary is

19

Page 20: “Today is ‘Diocesan Annual Appeal Commitment Weekend.’ …dioceseofscrantonarchive.org/clight/WORD 2015 Parish A…  · Web viewAtty. Frank and Sharon O’Connor, St. Lawrence

available to young men who will be future priests serving in our Diocese. We all believe in passing on our Catholic faith to our children in our parishes and in our schools.

Every time some good is done in our Diocese because of our support of the Annual Appeal, we become part this good work. As the Apostle Paul declares: “You will be enriched in every way for your great generosity”

When you come to Mass the weekend of October 24 and 25, and you’re asked to make a pledge to the Appeal – please ask yourself – Will I say Yes to a homeless veteran in need, to a retired priest receiving care or to a seminarian studying for the priesthood? Let us put our faith into action and say yes by pledging our support on to the Diocesan Annual Appeal on October 24 and 25. Thank you.

Prayer of the Faithful:

That each of us will understand that when we give to the Annual Appeal to help others we are only giving back a portion of what God has given to us…We pray to the Lord.

IN-PEW COMMITMENT WEEKENDBEFORE MASS:

See special Instructions on page 17. Also, please review the Pledge Envelope on the

next page to be familiar with the information requested.

DURING MASS:

PROCEDURES FOR IN-PEW Note: Solicitations at these Masses will account for a significant amount of funds donated to the Annual Appeal. The highest levels of participation have resulted when the solicitation includes a strong invitation from the pastor asking everyone to “join him” in supporting the Appeal and when materials and pledge cards are actively distributed and collected at each Mass by parish volunteers. We suggest that you do not leave materials in the pews before Mass. Handing the materials out personally and collecting envelopes immediately has resulted in the strongest response to the Appeal.

Confirm brochures, envelopes, and pencils are at the Church. Distribute pencils only in pews before each Mass. Pastors, Celebrants, Parish Representatives: See Pages ________

24

Page 25: “Today is ‘Diocesan Annual Appeal Commitment Weekend.’ …dioceseofscrantonarchive.org/clight/WORD 2015 Parish A…  · Web viewAtty. Frank and Sharon O’Connor, St. Lawrence

Please ask the volunteers to distribute the materials and pledge cards and then ask everyone to join you in prayerfully considering making a gift to support the important work accomplished through the Annual Appeal; and thank them for their generosity.

Suggest to parishioners that a convenient way to make a gift is by pledging a certain amount and then make monthly payments. Pledges may be spread over a period of several weeks or months.

NOTE: PLEASE ASK ALL PARISHIONERS TO COMPLETE AN ENVELOPE – AND FILL IN ALL OF THE INFORMATION REQUESTED, EVEN IF THEY ALREADY MADE A GIFT OR PLEDGE. Increased pledges are welcome. The information will be also used to update our records.

This year, parishioners are welcome to include a prayer intention whether or not they make a gift.

Ushers and volunteers collect envelopes.

ACTIVITIES IN THE PARISH OFFICE – AFTER MASSES CONCLUDE: A. Collect the pledge envelopes. Then, using the PARISHIONER LABELS provided

by the Appeal Office, affix the matching PARISHIONER LABEL to the lower right hand corner of the envelope.

NOTE: As you prepare to return the pledge envelopes to the Appeal Office, if you notice that the address that was hand-written by the donor on the pledge envelope is different than the address on the PARISHIONER LABEL that was provided to you, please cross out the address on the PARISHIONER LABEL after affixing it to the envelope. This will help us to note the change and adjust our records accordingly.

Please do not open pledge envelopes. Exception: Only open an envelope to remove any pencils left inside. (It is a big help to us if you do not return envelopes with pencils in them as it delays processing.)

B. Place the pledge envelopes (with the PARISHIONER LABEL affixed to each corresponding pledge envelop), along with any monies collected, into the mailing envelopes provided to each parish and mail them back to the Development Office for processing.

Please ensure your Parish Number is on the outside of the envelope.

If you receive additional Pledge Envelopes in the following weeks’ collections, affix the Parishioner LABEL to these as well, and mail them to us. Again, the pledge envelopes should not be opened (but for a pencil being left inside); this will be done at the processing center.

TO THE PASTOR: SUGGESTED THEMES AT STRATEGIC POINTS IN THE APPEAL PARISH LEADERSHIP

Pastors play a significant role in promoting the Diocesan Annual Appeal. Parishes also benefit from an enthusiastic and well organized Parish Appeal Chairperson and Parish Appeal Committee to assist the Pastor.

Please review the information included here and use it to enhance and bolster your parish campaign. The Annual Appeal publicly concludes in Parishes when you reach your assigned campaign goal. It is advantageous to all when parishioners are so moved to make their gifts early in the campaign. In-Pew Commitment Sunday is intended to be one of the most significant efforts to secure donors in your parish and is particularly important to reach those who attend Mass but may not be registered parishioners.

Note: There are significant times in the 2015 Campaign when we suggest the Pastor take additional steps to strengthen the Appeal message:

I. September 12-13 Kick-Off WeekendII. October 10-11 Promotion of In-Pew WeekendIII. October 24-25 In-Pew Commitment WeekendIV. November 7-8 Promotion of Text to Give WeekendV. November 14-15 Text to Give Weekend

On these weekends, in addition to the usual Bulletin Announcements and Prayers of the Faithful supporting the Appeal, we suggest:

1) A Message from the Pastor in the Bulletin, and 2) An Announcement from the Pulpit by the Pastor, Celebrant or Parish

Representative

MESSAGE THEME SUGGESTIONS

The following themes are suggestions to assist you in preparing your Bulletin and pulpit endorsements for the 2015 Diocesan Annual Appeal:

• Invite parishioners to joyfully share in the work of the local Church through their Appeal gift. .Stress the importance of fundraising for the ministries of the Annual Appeal as a part of stewardship and how it fits with your vision of parishioners’ sharing of time, talent and treasure. In the words of Bishop Bambera, “The gifts that so many provide for the Annual Appeal give us a wonderful opportunity to participate in the work of the Gospel.”

• Personalize the message for the parishioner. Reflect on the reasons why you supportthe Appeal, and publicly comment on making your own gift.

27

Page 28: “Today is ‘Diocesan Annual Appeal Commitment Weekend.’ …dioceseofscrantonarchive.org/clight/WORD 2015 Parish A…  · Web viewAtty. Frank and Sharon O’Connor, St. Lawrence

• Mention the five major ministries that are supported by the Annual Appeal. Catholic Social Services and Parish Outreach supported by “Social Justice”

Grants Catholic Education in Schools and Parishes Clergy Formation, Education and Support Parish Life and Ministry Formation Catholic Media and Communication

Pastor’s Section Continued

• Explain how funds from the Annual Appeal directly help your parish through Parish Life programs, religious education and that now additional funds are available for parish community outreach programs through “Social Justice” /Community Outreach grants to serve the broader community. Refer to any social justice grants your parish may have received over the years and how they are being used; cite future programs your parish would pursue with such funds.

• Promote the fact that 75% of the Appeal collections received over your Parish goal are returned to your Parish. Mention rebates and what the money could be used to fund in your parish, if attained.

• Ask every family to consider giving something to help you reach your parish goal. Two thirds of the gifts to the Appeal are $100 or less so every gift matters.

• Say “Thank You” to your past contributors.

I. WEEK 1 – KICK-OFF WEEKEND – SEPT. 12-13

Below are some optional themes you may use in your first message for the Appeal on Kick-Off Weekend.

SUGGESTED MESSAGE FROM THE PASTOR IN THE BULLETIN

Dear Parishioners:Today we join parishes throughout the Diocese of Scranton in launching the

2015 Diocesan Annual Appeal: “Good Hearts, Generous Spirits.” Each year at this time, we are asked to renew our commitment to support the local Church, and the greater community by sharing God’s gifts with those in need.

Through the Annual Appeal, we are not asking for ourselves, we are promoting justice and peace and giving people the opportunity to more fully live the Gospel. All our blessings are gifts given to us from God to be blessings to others.

28

Page 29: “Today is ‘Diocesan Annual Appeal Commitment Weekend.’ …dioceseofscrantonarchive.org/clight/WORD 2015 Parish A…  · Web viewAtty. Frank and Sharon O’Connor, St. Lawrence

The Annual Appeal video highlights stories from people who benefit from YOUR gifts to the Annual Appeal: a family in Hazleton who now has their own home (Catholic Social Services); a retired priest being cared for at St. Mary’s Villa (Clergy Formation, Education and Support), Three sisters who are benefiting from their education in our Catholic schools (Catholic Education in our Schools and Parishes), and a Parish Renewal Experience in our Diocese (Parish Life and Ministry Formation). You may wish to view the Diocesan Annual Appeal video again online at www.AnnualAppeal.org

We enjoy giving gifts, even when it requires going out of our way to do something considerate for another -to sacrifice. When you sacrifice to give a gift to the Appeal, you bring your faith to life. You live the Gospel message to love your neighbor as yourself. You may never know whose live you have transformed but God will know. “Whatsoever you’ve done to the least of my brothers….”

As St. Paul wrote to the Christians of Corinth: "You are our letter, written on our hearts, …shown to be a letter of Christ administered by us, written not in ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets that are hearts of flesh." (2 Corinthians3:2-3).

Show your “good hearts, generous spirits” by supporting the Diocesan Annual Appeal. Everything we do as Christians is mean to draw us together in unity for the sake of proclaiming Jesus through our imitation of his life. Your generosity in funding the Appeal allows us to care for and encourage those who answer the call to religious life; educate the next generation of the faithful in our parishes and our Catholic schools; freely share the message of the Gospel; support the vibrant holiness of our parish communities; and strengthen our commitment to social justice issues while feeding the hungry, caring for the sick and comforting the dying.

Last year, together, our gifts to the Appeal raised more than $5.2 million for Diocesan ministries. This year, the overall goal is to raise $5 million. Our Annual Appeal Parish Goal is $___________. I ask every family, every individual to join me in making a gift, no matter the amount. All gifts are needed and appreciated. I am confident, if we join together, and thoughtfully consider a sacrificial gift, we can reach our parish goal. Remember, the parish receives a 75% rebates for all funds we raise above our goal.

Funds from the Annual Appeal directly help our parish through programs offered by the Office for Parish Life. This year, through the Appeal, additional funds will be made available for Parish Outreach Programs to serve our community. (If applicable, refer to any social service grants your parish may have received over the years and how they are being used; cite future programs your parish would pursue with such funds).

29

Page 30: “Today is ‘Diocesan Annual Appeal Commitment Weekend.’ …dioceseofscrantonarchive.org/clight/WORD 2015 Parish A…  · Web viewAtty. Frank and Sharon O’Connor, St. Lawrence

Past donors to the Appeal will be receiving a letter from Most Reverend Joseph C. Bambera, Bishop of Scranton, this week. First time donors may take a pledge envelope from the thermometer poster display in our church or respond during In-Pew Commitment Weekend. Please prayerfully consider making a pledge over several months or make a one-time gift. Pledges may be paid in installments either by check, or by credit card.

On behalf of all who benefit from your generosity, thank you for your past gifts to the Appeal and for your consideration this year in supporting the 2015 Diocesan Annual Appeal, “Good Hearts, Generous Spirits,”

II. WEEK 5 – PROMOTE PROGRESS TOWARD PARISH GOAL – OCTOBER 10-11

MESSAGE FROM THE PASTOR IN THE BULLETIN

Dear Parishioners: This Sunday we join parishes throughout the Diocese in marking the mid-

point of the this year’s Diocesan Annual Appeal “Good Hearts, Generous Spirits.” Thanks to your generosity, I am pleased to report (Parish Name) has reached ______% of our goal of $________ as our parish’s commitment toward the overall Diocesan Annual Appeal goal of $5 million. Your gifts to this Appeal are sincerely appreciated.

The Diocesan Annual Appeal is an opportunity for members of our parish to join with our fellow parishioners throughout our Diocese to give back to God a portion of the many blessings we have received, sharing our gifts with others in thanksgiving. In the words of Bishop Bambera, “The gifts that so many provide for the Annual Appeal give us a wonderful opportunity to participate in the work of the Gospel.”

Our donations support our local Church and its many ministries and programs. Funds from the Annual Appeal also directly help our parish through programs offered by the Office for Parish Life. This year, through the Appeal, additional funds are available for Parish Outreach Programs to serve our community. (If applicable, refer to any social service grants your parish may have received over the years and how they are being used; cite future programs your parish would pursue with such funds). Without our gifts, these ministries would suffer deep cuts or be eliminated.

Thank you to everyone who has made a gift to the Appeal. If you have not made a gift to the Appeal, please prayerfully consider joining me and your sisters and brothers throughout the Diocese in support of the ministries of our local Church: Catholic Social Services and Parish Outreach; Catholic Education in Schools and Parishes; Clergy Formation, Education and Support; Parish Life and Ministry Formation and Catholic Media and Communication. III. WEEK 7 – IN-PEW COMMITMENT WEEKEND – OCTOBER 24-25

Note: Solicitations at these Masses will account for a significant amount of funds donated to the Annual Appeal. The highest levels of participation result when the solicitation includes a strong invitation from the pastor asking everyone to “join him” in supporting the Appeal and when pledge cards are actively distributed and collected at each Mass by parish volunteers. We suggest that you do not leave materials in the pews before Mass. Handing the materials out personally results in a stronger response to the Appeal.

MESSAGE FROM THE PASTOR IN THE BULLETIN

Dear Parishioner: Next Weekend is “In-Pew Commitment Weekend” in parishes throughout

the Diocese. I join my fellow pastors in inviting the faithful to again consider sharing in the work of the Gospels in our local Church by making a gift to the Diocesan Annual Appeal if you have not already made your pledge. Your support for the Appeal makes you part of this vital effort which benefits thousands of families and individuals through various ministries of Catholic Social Services and Parish Outreach; Catholic Education in Schools and Parishes; Clergy Formation, Education and Support; Parish Life and Ministry Formation and Catholic Media and Communication. If you didn’t complete a pledge card at Mass today, envelopes are still available at the entrances of the church, or by contacting the Diocesan Development Office. Please be certain to write your parish name on the pledge card!
