POLICE DEPARTMENT

South Holland Police Officer Kirk Kremski wants South Holland children and parents to enjoy safe and fun Hal-loween festivities.

Nothing is more fun for kids to do on Halloween than trick-or-treating, said Kremski. The idea of collecting candy from neighbors and wearing fun costumes excites kids but can be worrisome to parents. The best way for both children and parents to enjoy the day is to be safe.

Here are the top 10 safety tips from the South Holland Police Department to ensure fun filled trick-or-treating for everyone: • Childrenshouldneverenterthehomeorcarofanystranger.• Usejack-o-lanternsorhighintensityglowstickstolight
