A donation has been made to Hospice of Lenawee in memory of Bill VanTuyles mother.Mike McAran presented Dick Feight with a printed copy of the Newsletter.Thanks Spencer Ruffner for printing and bringing the copy to the meeting.

Anne Walker thanked the Key Club, Monroe Bank and Trust ENLISTgroup who assisted both Saturday and all day on Sunday, Dillon

Miller and 4 Aktion club members and Kiwanis members and theirfamily members for their assistance at the booth. 1000’s of peoplewere at our booth and the kids really enjoy making scarecrows and

mini-moos.

Sharon Hawley along with husband Kim handed out 3,400 SnapeaHarvest treats during the weekend and will also hand them out tothe 7th graders as they work at the Kiwanis Park on Thursday andto members of the HOPE Recreation center. 25 cents per bag willbe given to Community In Schools of Tecumseh Area to help fundtheir Friday Food packs by Table For Two who provided the snacks

for us to distribute.

John Bartrum notified us that there will be an interclub to Morenci,leaving at 11 AM on Wednesday.

Ron Wimple is all set for Travel and Adventure to the EnglishChannel tonight. The program starts at 7:30 PM.

Wendy Brys circulated an Invocation sign up sheet. She alsoannounced that she has a booklet of invocations for use, if needed.Wendy Brys, as chair of Human and Spiritual Values Committeewelcomes ideas from members.

Doug Bird again circulated a Kiwanis Park sign up forThursday October 15, working with 127 7th grade studentswho will be transporting invasive species brush up the hill forchipping. And for Friday October 16, working with 90 7thgrade students, who will be taking the mulch and spreading itdown the trail. Kiwanian’s who sign up will act as supervisors.Time frame is 1:00 to 2:15 PM.Doug Bird announced there are numerous copies of the Traveland Adventure papers that may be taken and distributedthroughout community businesses.

Cal Tuttle thanked the group for all of their help.. Time constraintsare the reason he has resigned. As far as the flag project isconcerned, Ron Musselman will take over building the flags, BrianCallaghan will handle the business end and maybe Ron Publiski willhandle getting the sleeves placed. There is still more help needed.

Next week will be Highschool Seniors of the Month.

The TCA has 572 seats. 23,000 attended events at the TCA during thepast year.Part of their funding is received in grants from the National Endowmentfor the Arts and the Michigan Council for the Arts.You can see your name in lights. The marquee is available for use by thecommunity. Or you can buy a seat.The Tecumseh Youth Theatre will again have their 50/50 raffle.There are many local youth programs on the agenda.
