What Can You Do NowAs parents, stay involved in your childs education.Talk to your child about their interests.Assist with ILP on-line completion.Attend parent/teacher conferences.Expect to see progress and grade reports.View your childs grades through Infinite Campus (on-line).Establish a channel of communication with teachers.If you see your childs grades going down, get involved asap.Encourage your child to attend make-up & help sessions.Encourage your child to participate in C&T Student Organizations (FFA, FCCLA, FBLA, HOSA, DECA)

Why plan as a freshman?To meet the needed course requirements for a Career Cluster.Some classes are grade level specific.If attending the Russellville Area Technology Center, you need to have three or four elective class slots available in that years schedule to attend. Four slots attend in the morning.Three slots attend in the afternoon.Need to pass all required graduation classes to ensure that sufficient slots are available to attend RATC.
