    TOMCO2 Systems PSF System is the most ECO-Friendly Carbon Dioxide pH Control system on the market. Our technology is designed to maximize the solubility of CO2 gas,

    converting it into a solution of carbonic acid. Our system utilizes over 95% of all the CO2 applied to the process. With this improvement in efficiency, our system prevents CO2 gas from escaping back into the atmosphere. The PSF System is the only system which continuously generates, on-site, a mild acid called Carbonic Acid (H2CO3). Carbonic Acid is environmentally friendly, safe and non-corrosive to the environment. In fact, carbonic acid is consumed everyday in carbonated beverages. Carbonic Acid is a direct replacement of hazardous and aggressive acids like sulfuric or hydrochloric, which are typically used in water and wastewater treatment for pH reduction.

    With this liquid-to-liquid transfer, reaction time is greatly reduced. This allows the pH probe to be placed closer to the injection point, increasing the ability to control or stabilize the pH.

    Our Pressurized Solution Feed (PSF) System is designed to inject carbonic acid into pipelines, ponds, basins or other water sources even shallow channels. Our PSF System can be engineered with either manual or automated pH control. Available sizes range from 1 pound (0.45 kg) to over 3,000 pounds (1,360 kg) per hour of carbon dioxide.

    journey. Traditional CO2 gas pH Control

    Systems are inefficient at applying the CO2

    into the water. These systems allow CO2

    gas to escape back into the atmosphere.

    molecule into Carbonic Acid solution.

    Carbonic Acid is directly injected into

    the water stream where the CO2 is now

    sequestered as a bicarbonate and hence

    controlling pH.

  • Fuel + Air = CO2 + Water + N

    This system is ideal for areas of the world where fuel costs are low, liquid CO2 is not generally available, or costs too much to import. This unit operates on the principal of simple combustion.

    Our system combines the fuel source (Natural Gas, Propane, or Butane) and air to produce Theoretical or Stoichiometric combustion. By controlling the air fuel ratio, we can achieve a complete burn of the fuel, therefore producing carbon dioxide up to 14% by volume. The CO2 gas begins to absorb into the water, producing Carbonic Acid. The Carbonic Acid reacts with alkalis present in water, neutralizing them, thus reducing the pH. This system is engineered to be installed in treatment basins only. The Submerged Combustion Burner Systems can be designed with either manual or automatic control. This system can be used as a heat source for most water or wastewater needs. Available sizes range from 400 pounds (181.4 kg) to 10,000 pounds (4,536 kg) per day of CO2.

    The traditional method of using Carbon Dioxide for pH control is to inject CO2 gas directly into a water stream. Once the gas is absorbed, it will produce carbonic acid. The Carbonic Acid

    then reacts with alkalis present in the water, neutralizing them, thus reducing pH. The Direct CO2 Gas Injection System can be engineered as either manual or automatic pH control. CO2 gas can be injected into most basins, tanks, lakes, or other water sources. Efficiency of the CO2 gas depends on numerous factors such as water chemistry, injection design, water depth, and physical conditions at

    the injection point. Available sizes range from 1 pound (0.45 kg) to over 3,000 pounds (1,360 kg) per hour of carbon dioxide.

    This system generates Hypochlorous Acid by utilizing the highly efficient Pressurized Solution Feed (Carbonic Acid) System to control pH in the chlorinated solution. Hypochlorous Acid is generated on-site by combining our Carbonic Acid with a chlorinated solution. This reaction, because of the pH control, converts the hypochlorite into Hypochlorous Acid. At the pH 6.0, the chemical reaction forms 98% Hypochlorous Acid. Once the chemical reaction is complete, Hypochlorous Acid can be distributed to the water source, production or processing area. This highly effective chlorine based anti-microbial agent will reduce pathogens in water or on food products. Available sizes range from 1 pound (0.45 kg) to 1,000 pounds (453.6 kg) per hour of CL2.
