Do not enter the shop when the teacher is not present.

Always wear safety glasses & a tied apron while working in the shop.

Keep long hair back; roll up long sleeves; wear closed toe shoes.

Treat other students and class materials with RESPECT.

Behave in an orderly manner: No play-fighting or bothering others.

NO CURSING OR INSULTING OTHERS.

Do not throw ANYTHING; move slowly through the shop.

Always sweep table with broom and dustpan. Keep table clear of glass shards. Pick up glass off floor.

Always hand sharp tools with sharp point down; blunt end facing recipient. Do not carry tools in your pocket.

Glass thats smaller than a quarter is discarded in the red can. Glass thats larger than a quarter is saved by color on the scrap cart.

Always wear safety gloves when handling glass.

Always wear rubber gloves when using chemicals (patina & flux remover).
-
Keep your hands off other peoples projects.

Report accidents to the teacher IMMEDIATELY.
