What is Conflict?

Definition: A conflict occurs when two or more parties perceive that they have mutually incompatible values, priorities or goals.

• Can be stressful and unpleasant

• Is a process, rather than a moment in time

• Rarely just about the content

• Does not have to result in winners and losers
