Fuel pressure test kit

This fuel pressure test kit enables the pressure and flow rate to be measured without dismantling the fuel pump.

All common fuel delivery systems (petrol, diesel common rail, diesel pump-nozzle injector, diesel distributor pumps and diesel inline pump systems with and without return side up to 8 bar/120 psi pressure) can be checked for faults using the fuel pressure test kit.

Specifications:Max. pressure: 8 bar (120 psi)

Extensive directions for use, with test instructions, value tables and guidelines for fault diagnosis are provided to assist with troubleshooting.

Note:Not suitable for alternative fuels with

Repair kit for fuel lines


Within scope of supply:The most common connections for fuel filters, fuel pump connectors and fuel pumps.

Operating pressure: max. 5 bar absolute


Repairing fuel lines is often problematic if the required components are not available. By means of the repair kit, smaller defective spots on fuel lines can be repaired quickly and efficiently:

• Rusted through areas on steel pipes• Embrittled areas on plastic pipes• Kinked plastic tubes• Broken plugs, e.g. from disassembly

during filter replacement• Suitable for steel or plastic pipes with an

outside diameter of 8 or 10 mm.• Junctions of the different materials are

possible (plastic pipe – steel tube; rubber hose – steel tube; rubber hose – plastic pipe).

Motorservice offers a set of 8 tools to facilitate the release of quick couplers (quick connectors), which are used by many vehicle manufacturers. The tools are curved to facilitate access to the connectors.

Special tool for air mass sensor replacement


The replacement of series-mounted air mass sensors is complicated by the use of special screws (5-tooth or 6-tooth star-shaped inserts) with a central pin.

Motorservice provides the appropriate aftermarket special tool for air mass sensors.

“Plastic gauge” engine bearing measuring strip


Plastic Gauge enables the simple but accurate measurement of bearing clearances and gap dimensions. Areas of application include crankshaft and connecting rod bearings as well as situations in which a feeler gauge cannot be used.

Application: The measuring strips are placed on the shaft across the sliding surface. The bearing caps are put in place and secured with the prescribed tightening torques. After the bearing caps are removed, the bearing clearance can be determined from the thickness of the measuring strips using the measuring scale.

Further application possibilities:Determining unevenness on cylinder head sealing faces and flange connections.

Precision hardness tester (sclerometer) for hardness testing on all surface-hardened components.

Application example: For checking the hardness of journals in crankshafts. Based on the hardness values determined by the measurement, the condition and reusability of crankshafts can be assessed.

The drop hammer is allowed to fall vertically onto the surface to be tested and then rebounds. At the highest rebound point the hammer is held by a safety catch. The rebound value can be read out from the scale and converted to HB/HV/HRC and tensile strength using the table.

Attaching the exposing stripsIt is not possible to clamp the soft and porous exposing strips. The exposing strips can only be attached by being glued onto a stone carrier. For gluing commercially available one or two-pack adhesives that have a sufficient final strength and are chemically resistant to oils, acids and bases are suitable.
