• Have students create a “significant” word list from their notes after viewing video.
• They may use this word list to create a Word Cloud, using a program like Wordle at www.wordle.net or Tagxedo at www.tagxedo.com
• Under the 6th grade English Standards of Learning category, Communication: Speaking, Listening, Media Literacy, – this activity addresses SOL 6.3a: The student will
understand the elements of media literacy to compare and contrast auditory, visual, and written messages.
