  • Okay, now that you have watched the video, let’s get right into the technical details.

    Tools You Will Need

Tool #1 – Autoresponder: I assume that you already have an autoresponder to build your email list. But if by any

case, you don’t have an autoresponder, you really need to buy one. I recommend GetResponse, a service that I

have been using since 2014 for my online businesses. Trust me, you are going to need an autoresponder sooner or

    later.

    >> Get Your 30-Day Free Trial For GetResponse

Tool #2 – Upviral Software: This is the “steroid” that I am using to build a viral list building campaign. Upviral is a

cloud-based software that allows you to build a viral funnel. This means that you do not need to buy expensive

    landing page builders.

This software builds a complete funnel consisting of a squeeze page and a thank you page, in which you can tell

your new subscribers to choose between purchasing your offer or refer their friends to register in order to get it

    for free.

The software also automatically generate unique invitation links that your subscribers can share to their social

media accounts in order to get their friends to sign up.

In addition, the software also has a built-in social media sharing button that is directly embedded on the thank you

page so your new subscribers can easily share their unique invitation links.

And the most important feature of all is that you can easily integrate the software with your autoresponder. This

means that every lead the software captures via its squeeze pages will directly be imported into your

autoresponder account. GetResponse is one of the major autresponder services supported by Upviral, so I suggest

    you use GetResponse.

    How To Use Upviral

After you purchase Upviral, you login to your member dashboard and choose create campaign.

  • Enter your campaign name on the form and then click “Create”.

In the next step, you have to choose between a “Reward” campaign or a “Sweepstake” campaign. A “Reward”

means you will give all participants that manage to fill the required referral number the free access to your

product. A “Sweepstake” means you put participants on a competition and whoever gets the most referral will win

  • the free access to your product. I usually go with “Reward”. In this section, you click “Add A Reward” to begin

    adding your reward.

A pop up will show up and here you can set the parameter for your reward from name, the number of referrals

needed to unlock (you can set as many as you want but I suggest between 3 and 5), the delivery method of the

reward is someone unlocks it and the download page URL for the reward. You can add as many reward as you can

    but one is good enough.

  • Skip the “Sweepstake” tab and go to “Points”. Here set the number of point for each referral as “1” because you

need subscribers to refer 3 people into the list in order to unlock your reward, which is valued at “3” in the

previous step. Next, save and then create your lead capture page.

  • In the lead capture set up page, you can choose between hosting your lead capture on Upviral or using a widget to

install on your website. In this example, I choose to host the page on Upviral. Click the “Run The Campaign On

    Upviral” button.

  • Next, you need to choose which lead capture template that you want to use. There are 12 templates and all of

them are customizable to suit your brand.

  • Once you select a template, you can easily edit it. The interface is very simple. You can change the background

image, the texts, the optin form, buttons, etc. After you are done, click “Save” and we will then edit the thank

    you/share page.

Now, this is where my “secret sauce” comes to play. Here, you will offer your new subscribers 2 options; whether

they want to buy your front end offer for $7 (or whatever price tag you want to set) or to refer 3 friends (or more)

to sign up to get your front-end product for free. If you don’t have your own product created, you can use PLR

products to offer. I use JVZoo as my digital product sale platform in this example.

Like the lead capture page, it is very easy to edit and customize your thank you/share page. You can also set up

which social media that your new subscribers can use to share their unique links to get referrals. In this example, I

only allow them to share on Facebook and Twitter. This is how mine looks like after editing:

  • On the next step, you will set up the appearance of the social media posts that will show up on your new

subscribers’ accounts if they decide to share on Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest. The interface is pretty self-

explanatory and very easy to edit too. To create social media images/banners for free, you can use Canva.

  • Next you will set up email notifications that your subscribers will receive after they sign up, successfully refer a

friend or when they finally unlock your product. You can also set up an email to give a warning to subscribers who

try to cheat by signing up using multiple accounts etc. The content of your email notifications are also editable.

  • Next is you need to integrate your Upviral account with your autoresponder so that every new subscribers

(including their referrals) who sign up through your Upviral capture page will be automatically imported to your

autoresponder. Integrations are different for different autoresponder services and there is a tutorial on how to

integrate in the upviral dashboard. In this example I am using GetResponse.

  • Next you go to “advanced settings” and in here you can determine which countries you want to target. If you are

using solo ads to drive traffic, you might want to target the top 5 tier-1 countries (US, UK, Australian, New Zealand

and Canada). However, if you want to get more shares, you might also want to add tier-2 countries like Singapore

and European Union countries as well into the mix. South American countries like Brazil and Argentina are also

great choices to get more shares.

Your campaign is now ready and you can start promoting your Upviral URL to gain viral list building effect!
