Jackie Chan Back In Full Blast Action In Lastest ‘Police Story’ Movie

Millions of Jackie Chan fans worldwide groaned when it was announced that the action maestro

was about to retire from action films. But recently, Chan has been promoting his latest action flick “Police Story 2013,” set to open in cinemas this January 22.Chan began as a stuntman in Chinese action movies and became his country’s action star in the 70s with his action comedy films such as “Snake in the Eagle's Shadow” and “Drunken Master” prior his big Hollywood fame in the 90s.In the latest “Police Story 2013,” a reboot of his previous movie of the same title, Jackie Chan plays policeman Zhong Wen, a man dedicated to his work to the point of neglecting his own family. His distant and rebellious daughter Miao one day asks to meet with him at an exclusive bar owned by Wu Jiang, his daughter’s boyfriend, in the heart of the city.Upon arrival at the bar, Zhong senses something off, and this makes Miao all the more rebellious towards him.

Zhong proves himself right when Wu’s true intentions are revealed on the night the guests in the bar are held hostage in exchange for the release of a criminal named Fu, a notorious criminal Zhong imprisoned years ago. Meanwhile, Miao realizes Wu had used her to get to her father, and is filled with guilt.Showing no signs of retiring from movies, Chan said in recent interviews that “A genuine action movie is marked by real stunts.” As with all his other movies, Chan’s fight scenes looked very painful, and he admitted that they were as painful as they looked: “The fights were with genuine MMA (mixed martial arts) boxers, not stuntmen; so, they didn’t know how to control their strength when we were filming the fight sequences. Those were rock-hard, solid punches and kicks.”“Police Story 2013” will open this January 22 from Mega vision, Inc. in cinemas nationwide.

Kajal’s Time To Rock In Bollywood

It took her almost a decade after her debut to return to Bollywood with ‘Special 26’, but now there seems to be one more in quick

succession for Kajal. Interacting with the media on her ‘Jilla’ experience, the movie’s success and her upcoming projects, a few words escaped out of her tight lips about her next Hindi flick; the actress says she is likely to work in a project starting this February or March. But ask her in particular about her upcoming projects, Kajal mentions only about her Tamil flick with Dhanush and a Telugu film in the calendar. Speaking on ‘Jilla’, Kajal said “I watched ‘Jilla’ FDFS in Mumbai and I am thrilled by the positive reviews I am receiving about the movie. It was a great experience working with Ilayathalapathy and the legendary actor Mohanlal.” Kajal is yet to watch ‘Veeram’ which she plans to hang out on, this weekend

starting work on the movie."I was asked to tone down my body before staring for the film. I was not asked to lose weight as such, but I was asked to tone a bit. It’s Been 33 Years For Rajinikanth

Rajinikanth and Latha tied the knot on 26th of February in 1981 and the couples celebrate their 33nd anniversary. Rajinikanth and Latha

met for the first time when she went to interview him for her college magazine. They soon decided to get married after seeking their parents' consent.

The couples have two daughters Aishwarya and Soundarya who are happily married. While Aishwarya, the eldest daughter, who is married to actor Dhanush made her debut as director with '3' is working on her next in Vai Raja Vai, Soundarya, married to businessman Ashwin is busy making her directorial debut in Kochaidaiyaan starring her father Rajinikanth.

Rajini's wife Latha graduated with a Master of Arts degree in English literature from Stella Maris College in Chennai in 1980 and is the founder and correspondent of The Ashram, a Chennai-based school.

Anushka For Thala

We at Indiaglitz had earlier reported that Anushka is likely to be a part of the next film with Ajith, and the actress has

confirmed it now. It is well known that Gautham Menon is planning his next flick with Thala, and it was on talks that Anushka may do the lady lead in the film. The actress’ spokesperson confirms the news saying “Yes, Anushka has nodded to the offer, but has not signed on the dotted line yet.” We hear that Anushka is yet to listen to the script, but has agreed to go ahead with the project anyway, given that it involves big names - Ajith and Gautham Menon. The actress is currently busy shooting for ‘Rudramadevi’ and ‘Mahabali’ - both the big budgets cast her in a crucial role. Anushka is to allot dates during her breaks from these two Tolly big budgets, for Ajith-Gautham project. Once everything is in place, Thala’s next will go on the floors from March.

Taapsee’s Special Role In ‘Vai Raja Vai’

Taapsee is the sort of actress who wouldn't want to feature in a movie just for a cameo. But Aishwarya Dhanush's confidence and

the special twist in the role that she will be playing, convinced the actress to sign the dotted line for Gautham Karthik's upcoming 'Vai Raja Vai'. Speaking to the media, Taapsee says that she will be appearing in a guest role in Aishwarya's second directorial venture. She says it will be a role far from what anyone would anticipate, and will be a new venture for her, though she is firm on being tight lipped about what exactly it is. "I was sceptical about it earlier, when I heard that Aishwarya wants me to play a cameo in her 'Vai Raja Vai'.

But having heard the role I will play and the director's confidence, I agreed to doing this. We finalized it all in under two days and I will start shooting for my portions from February" says Taapsee. Priya Anand will be seen romancing Gautham in 'Vai Raja Vai', which is currently shooting at a fast pace, towards completion.She has acted in a hit film which is know as arrambam with Ajith,Ariya,Nayanthara.she as acted in so many telugu films.So she has gained good exprience through each film.Hope that even Vai Raja Vai will be a hit film.

Telugu actor Uday Kiran who has acted in films like Poi and Penn Singam committed suicide at hisHyderabad residence last night. Reports are

that the actor hung himself when his wife had stepped out of the house. He was rushed to the hospital where he was declared dead. The buzz is that Uday Kiran was upset that the industry was not treating him well. However, there is no clear reason as to why he took the drastic step.
