This movie is honestly one fucked-up situation and that’s why it’s so good.

24. A LONELY PLACE TO DIE

A group of ñve mountaineers are hiking and climbing in the Scottish Highlands when they

discover a young Serbian girl buried in a small chamber in the wilderness. They become

21. HIGH LANE

A group of friends embark on an ambitious mountain expedition along a trail that they

discover – way too late – is closed for repair. It becomes clear that not only is the path a lot

more dangerous than they thought, but also that they are not alone. Fear exposes old

traumas and brings up hidden emotions to the surface, and soon, everyone is ñghting tooth-

and-nail for their survival.

This is Zombieland meets The Sixth Sense. It’s a whole lotta fun for a horror movie, and it’s

the only horror movie to actually make me cry. Yep….I got teary eyed. Don’t judge me!

Here’s a movie that I’m sure a lot of people haven’t seen. Don’t get confused with the Viggo

Mortensen The Road. This one is a ghost story mystery that scares the crap out of you. The

director does a great job of making you use your brain to try to ñgure out what is happening.

You won’t be sorry you watched this ñlm.

16. AMERICAN MARY

Girl power to the max! I didn’t expect much from this ñlm, and instead I was blown away at

how good it was, no wonder it was on alot of horror critics best of list. Check this sweet

revenge movie out.

15. THE DEN

This found footage movie rocked. I loved the ñnal girl, and the twist and turns this ñlm had.

You won’t be disappointed if you watch this. I don’t want to say too much without giving it

away, but man people, shut oö those computers! You never know when people are watching

you.

14. GRABBERS

Why do they insist on making creature feature posters look cheesy? Even though this ñlm

does have the humor, it has some really great scary scenes, superb acting, and great

direction. Well worth the watch.

13. HOUSEBOUND

The is one great ghost story. It will have you questioning through the whole movie: who is

haunting this family?

12. HERE COMES THE DEVIL

Whoaaaa, this ñlm has that old school feel to it. It plays like a 70’s/early 80’s horror movie. It

was extremely eerie, and anything dealing with the Devil that feels real, scares the shit out of

me. I know you haven’t seen this movie, and you’re missing out. Watch and see.

11. EXTRATERRESTRIAL

I’m not into Sci-ñ horror at all, so congrats to the Vicious Brothers for grabbing my attention

with this scary movie. I loved the characters, the story lines, and the kills. You have to see

this if you love Sci-ñ Horror!

10. TORMENT

I was surprised how much I liked this movie. The serial killers are really scary, so I got into

this movie big time. There was some bad acting by the little boy, but that’s ok, he got his

moment of good acting when he started getting tormented.

9. EXETER

A group of teenagers accidentally release an evil spirit that starts to possess them one by

one.

8. THE BABADOOK

2014 saw a new horror ñlm that was on a lot of the ‘BEST OF’ lists….this is that movie. Don’t

miss this ñlm, it’s number one on this list for a reason, mother and son take on a dark force.

7. TROLL HUNTER

Another creature feature that is well worth the watch. I know you’re thinking, a giant troll?

Yeah right…even the poster doesn’t scare me. Trust me, this foreign found footage is

probably on more of my lists than any other horror ñlm. It’s got all the goods! It’s a must see

if you love horror movies!

6. WYRMWOOD

One of the best new vampire ñlms ever put out. It’s a lot like Zombieland, just with vampires

and without the comic relief. It also co-stars ñnal girl Danielle Harris.

4. RITES OF SPRING

I just happen to come across this movie, and I have to say it’s high up on my list, because it

has everything I like about horror. It might not be on some people’s list, but I got where the

director was going with it, and I want a part 2. I like the scares and the new horror slasher

that was created for this ñlm.

3. I SAW THE DEVIL

Insane battle of good vs. ultimate evil. Foreign horror that is so worth the watch. If your a

horror fan then you can’t miss this one, trust me. Just check out the trailer and you will see

why.
