th anniversary celebration

is scheduled for Friday,

September 20 at the Oshkosh

Premier Waterfront Hotel. The

following day, Sept. 21, will be

our annual club golf outing.

with your fellow Rotarians.

Memories Needed

The Oshkosh Southwest Rotary

40th

Anniversary Committee

needs photos and mementos

documenting the last 40 years of

our club! If you have photos,

ticket stubs, newspaper articles

or other memorabilia please get

them to Vicky Redlin, John

Lohrfeld, or Karen Fredrick.

You can submit photos (the old

fashioned kind with real film) in

an envelope with your name on

the outside and we will scan the

photo and get it back to you.

Digital photos can be sent to

[email protected].

If you have other items please

make a copy for us and submit

as above either via envelope or

email. Any additional

documentation you have for the

photos and memorabilia would

be greatly appreciated! A short

synopsis of the event, names of

those pictured and dates should

be included with submissions

whenever possible. All these

memories will be added to the

25th

Anniversary Booklet and

put onto a CD that each 40th

Anniversary Party attendee will

receive.

Golf Outing

The day after our big 40th

anniversary party you can hit the

links with fellow Rotarians.

We’ll be having the annual

Oshkosh Southwest Rotary Golf

at Westhaven Golf Club.

Information regarding tee times

etc. will be provided at a future

meeting. For questions please

contact John Holdorf.

Wednesday, August 7. Captains

will leave from Fratello’s, tour

the waterways and return for

dinner. Contact Chet Wesenberg

to sign up for this fun outing.

Waterfest

Rotarians will gather at the

Leach Amphitheater for a night

of music and selling

concessions. Our annual

Waterfest fundraiser night is

scheduled for August 8.

Musical entertainment will be

provided by the Spin Doctors

(and Copper Box). We need 60

volunteers to staff the beverages

and food stands. Spouses and

friends are welcome to

volunteer. There will be two

shifts. Please sign up today or
