The Festival of Fools is a major international festival which has been based in Holt and for the past 5 years. This summer it comes to the South West- for the first time in the U.K. with festivals in Penzance, Torrington and Exeter. Leading performers from Europe, the States and Australia, together with top British ones, will present an extravaganza of theatre, music, clowning and magic. These performers are:

Each of the three festivals is being organized by local people- working in liaison with Footsbarn Theatre as the hosts of the Festival of Fools in the UK. Each site wilt have a craft market, side shows, games, exhibitions, music, films, food and Real ale tents, and diverse arts workshops for kids and adults. There will be special performances for hospitals/homes, street parades and shows and camping facilities by arrangement.
