Organization of studies
Define your objective – duration of studies will depend on: a) your objective and b) your entry level.
1. INTENSIVE COURSE
22h30 of class per week: 15 hours of language course (2 teachers) 1h30 of phonetics (in half class, language laboratory) 3 hours of tutorials (oral / reading and writing skills) 3 hours of workshops to chose from cultural courses (civilization,
literature, history of art, international relations, gastronomy, fashion, etc.), French for specific purpose (business, medical, etc.), exam preparation, or task-oriented units (volunteering, counselling on higher education, webzine).
Duration : 2 to 48 weeks 12 to 15 students per class (maximum 15) Multinational course
2. STANDARD COURSE
Morning class, 15 hours per week 2 teachers Duration : from 2 to 48 weeks Starting date : every Monday
Except for complete beginners Recommended dates for stay over 4 weeks
12 to 15 students per class (maximum 15) Free afternoons to enjoy Tours
PENTAGON COURSE
3 to 5 students per class Intensive course: 25 hours per week Standard course: 15 hours per week
Starting date: every Monday (including complete beginners)
Minimum duration: one week
Guaranteed opening (private tuition if one student only)
Very flexible objectives and contents – adapted to the group
Combination course : language and culture
Standard (15h) or intensive (22h30) language course
and Culture pack with 2 excursions, wine tasting, cooking workshop

Institut de Touraine is a certified exam center for: DELF (A1, A2, B1, B2) DALF (C1) Exams of the Chamber of Commerce of Paris Ile-de-
