Dr Katyal earned her Bachelors of Dental Surgery in 2001 and her Master of

Science in Medicine (Clinical Epidemiology) at The University of Sydney in 2010.

In 2013 she completed her Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in Orthodontics from The

University of Adelaide and Membership in Orthodontics, from the Royal Australasian

College of Dental Surgeons and Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.

Dr Katyal is an avid lecturer at national and international orthodontics conferences.

With a special interest in paediatric sleep-disordered breathing, snoring and oral

appliances, her research has been published in orthodontic journals worldwide,

and featured in mainstream media including Channel 9 news, ABC radio, 4BC

radio, The Daily Telegraph, The Sun Herald and Bite dental magazine.

The recipient of prestigious orthodontics fellowships, she has also been awarded by

the Australian Society of Orthodontics Foundation for Research and Education, an

honour shared with only the most distinguished Australian leaders in orthodontics.

DR. BORIS CHERKASSKIPROSTHODONTISTDDM, BDS (Otago), GradDipClinDent (Melb), MRACDS (Pros.) MDS (Melb).

Title: The synergy between the Prosthodontic and Orthodontic treatment planning and the use of Digital Smile Design (DSD).

Following completion of his Master Degree at Melbourne University, Dr Cherkasski has been in a specialist practice restricted to prosthodontics. He has broad knowledge and substantial practical experience in all aspects of restorative dentistry including dental implantology. His special interest lies in cosmetic rehabilitation and the use of digital technologies in restorative treatment. Dr Cherkasski lectures nationally and internationally on dental implant-related issues. He is a full member of the Academy of Australian and New Zealand Prosthodontists and an immediate past president of the Australasian Osseointegration Society (Victorian branch). Currently, Dr Cherkasski serves in an executive committee of the Australasian Osseointegration Society– federal body.

Her special interests include, Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders, Craniofacial Pain and Sleep Disordered Breathing.

Rochelle is a director and lecturer at the Academy of Orofacial Myology and highly sought after national and international speaker in the field of orofacial myology and the role of it plays in orofacial growth and development, TMD and Airway issues.

Title: Molar incisor hypomineralisation and space maintenance

Dr Jad Clarke is a specialist in Paediatric Dentistry. He strongly believes in integration of a child’s oral health with their total health care management. He has a particular interests in children with special needs, management of children with dental anxiety and treatment of dental emergencies and trauma.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Sydney, Jad worked in general practice in Wollongong and Sydney for nine years before undertaking specialist training in Paediatric Dentistry at the University of Sydney.

Dr Clarke currently works in private practice in Bondi Junction and holds positions at Westmead Centre for Oral Health and the Children’s Hospital at Westmead. He also maintains a role as a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sydney.

Title: Interdisciplinary cases & multi specialist presentations

Ben completed his MDSc in Prosthodontics from University of Sydney. During this time, he was given the Young Prosthodontist Award by The International College of Prosthodontists. He is the past president of the Australian Prosthodontic Society (NSW) and Australian Asian Association of Dentists. He is a mentor for implant diploma courses offered by the University of Sydney, University of Melbourne and Charles Sturt University. In addition being a visiting honorary Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sydney, a frequent presenter for Nobel Biocare, Ben frequently presents on the topic of dental implants and fixed prosthodontics nationwide. As a prosthodontist, Ben works full-time in his referral based specialist practice in Chatswood, Sydney with particular interest in the surgical and restorative aspects of dental implant treatment.
